Imagine if Einstein refused to challenge Newtonian Theory. I'm not saying embrace Intelligent Design, rather, I'm saying let's acknowledge the inconsistencies in the model that the majority of us have embraced without question. My guess is that there is a third (or fourth...) theory that we haven't even considered yet because we are too afraid to ask!
