On a similar vein as "Blow", "New Jack City", and "Scarface", "Paid In Full" is a semi-autobiographical movie of the rise and fall of a person with a good heart who turns to bad means. Of course no stories like these have walk off in the sunset endings, but it's a great ride. The acting is great, and the music perfectly fits the era of the movie. Wood Harris is a true talent, and Cam'Ron really made the movie as well. Mekhi Phifer's role (great scenes!) could have easily been the main character, but it was told from the Boss' perspective. A Must See For All Neo Ganster Movie Lovers.

This movie is one that reinforces hollywood's discrimination against black films. The main character was well developed. The plot was important, but mostly the personal relationships were examined well. I really enjoyed this movie and felt it to be deeply moving.
