Amazing Movie. I love Josh Hutcherson, he's one of my Favorite Actors :) I've seen almost every movie he's been in, and I cry every time. I cried 8 Times during Firehouse Dog. It's a really Great Film, and Rexxx is adorable :)

I liked this movie because it was 'cute'. Some of the scenes were physically impossible, and I didn't think it was necessary for the dog to be praised so dramatically. I am glad that this movie shows the point of view of firemen. I think that most children and families will like it, and when they are writing their reviews, perhaps will be persuaded to give this movie a good review.

A group of us went to this movie, ranging from age 11 to 80. We all loved it. I love dog shows and this one, as usual, made the dog out to be a kind and lovable friend. I am very disappointed it was not played at the theater very long. I can't imagine why. Thought it was a great funny movie for everyone, especially for anyone who loves and appreciates dogs.

My Husband and I took our 5 year old grandson and his little friend also 5. We all enjoyed it very much. I will probably go again to take my grand daughter, it was that good. A real family movie.

AWESME MOVIE! My favorite part was when he had the sunglasses, and then when he was biting the guitar from the guy... And when he was on the skateboard, and when he was in the firetruck... And when he was on the bed with the little boy and they were having a pillow fight! This movie was AWESOME!

I read the reviews for this movie on this website before taking a special needs friend to see it. There is no way that someone could have thought it wasn't a great movie. I loved it. How wonderful. My friend was delighted too and he has been smiling for a week.

It was realy cool I just had to see it. It was cool and funny. That was cool when Rexxx cleaned Shane's room and it was funny when Rexxx kept chasing the fire truck.

This won't win any awards, but it's fun family fare. (Formulaic, too.) No surprises, a measure of suspense, a suggestion of the possibility of romance. Bruce Greenwood plays the same character he always plays. Josh Hutcherson plays a school-age kid... Like always. Good work by the doggy!

Movies are to entertain and this one makes you laugh out loud it's not about the special effects its about a dog and a boy how much more natural can you get I am older and I loved it and left the theatre feeling happy.

This is a great movie for kids - went with three of them and they laughed and cried and so did one of the adults present (cry that is) The reviewers are too harsh - come on! It's a kids movie and it has fart jokes. Guess what kids find that funny and admit so do most of us. The references to other movies done doggie-syle (no not that one) are cute and Rexx's hair piece would make Donald Trump jealous. Take the kids - you won't regret it.

We took the kids ages 5,8,9,10 to see it today and they all loved it! Josh Hutcherson is a great actor and the kids have seen every movie he's been in. Worth seeing again on DVD when it comes out. Nice to find a family movie that we can all enjoy, that isn't a cartoon.

It was fantastic I went to see it at my birthday I thought i'd be going home with no thrill from the movie I was wrong it was full of excitment. If you havent seen it already go see it now you won't regreat seeing fire house dog! :D.

It was so fake looking, the special effects were horrible. Way to corny, i didn't know Disney could film such utter crap. That was an hour and a half of my life I will never get back.

I took my 8 year old son to see this one, and quite frankly, we both enjoyed it. I wasn't impressed by the effects that much, and although the plot was completely predictable, it was rather charming, honest, and meaningful, particularly for kids. Overall, a heart-warming experience. Josh Hutcherson wasn't bad as Shane, but I expected a better performance from Bruce Greenwood. I liked the performance of the supporting actors except for Dash Mihok, who was terrible. One of the beautiful things about this film, is that parents need not worry. There is almost nothing here that is offensive in anyway.

This was a terrible movie and I do not recomend it at all. The movie had so many crappy effects like when he flips or something, he looks like a brown tornado up-side down. Like seriously, the jokes were so ridiceoulus! IT WASN'T EVEN FUNNY! Just stupid...

What a lovely movie for kids and adults alike. No swearing, no sex, no obnoxious teenagers or adults... Take your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, or just go by yourself, you'll enjoy it.
