So glad I seen a poster advertising this AWESOME MOVIE that portrays the diversity of living in America! The drumming was my favorite and the dynamics of relationships and the power they have to influence another's life had a lasting impression on me. Going back soon to take more friends!

What a touching movie this was... You really feel Walter character coming alive with his new friendship with Zainab & Tarek. But what really touching is how the relationship blossom between Walter and Mouna under the most unlikely circumstances.

Very boring. I fell asleep after the first about 20 minutes. Save your money and see Get Smart or Kit Kittredge.

The movie wraps you up in the lives of these strangers, much like what happens to the main character. You don't even realize when or how, but the other characters become endeared to you. I also loved it because it's set in NY and because the immigration issue is treated so well.

Left one hanging at the end... perhaps a little sad but life is like that. Thought provoking, well done.

Great acting! Thought provoking, sensitive treatment of the illegal alien issue. It's a treat to see a movie about how real life situations affect people and, even better, that doesn't have a non-Hollywood ending. Very worthwhile seeing.

Don't go to this movie if you are expecting a comedy (the stated genre of this movie) Don't go if you require Rambo action to stay interested. Do go if you like character development, great acting, and a non-Hollywood approach to real issues and emotions. I really enjoyed this movie and thought about it for quite some time after seeing it.

Interesting story, good acting BUT I resent the much too blatant political message and predictable characters. Could have been a great movie but missed the mark.

An intelligent movie entirely relevent to a major political problem in the US. The result of zenophobia and the discrimination it brings is tragically recounted in this movie. The US particularly and many other western countries are compounding state crimes in the name of protecting 'non-alien' citizens. The result of this extreme 'protection' led to the subject of Schindler's List. Here we have a modern day Schindler - trying to serve just one injustice. How much history will be repeated as this insular nationalism attracts more fearful voters. This movie deserves some Oscar nominations, is well paced and beautifully acted. Don't miss it.

I didn't think this film was very good. It was sooo slow at times. It's not going to win any oscars. Could have been much better. The theatre was practically empty...

A mediocre movie at best. Achingly slow, not such a good script. Not much of a story line. Acting is mediocre. Just not as a slick as some of the other movies. I wouldn't recommend it.

A powerful movie without any fancy effects or props to get a message across about what is happening to the ones disappearing from our towns and neighborhoods. These are our friends, colleagues or family members.

I found the film a little slow at the beginning but then it starts to unfold into a real, political conflict that continues to plague our countries. What is happening to middle eastern persons here on temporary visas that expire? We take our citizenship and our rights for granted.
