I think we all know why women made us guys watch this movie. It delivers for them, and well, not for us!

A wonderful chick movie. Watched with 2 daughters in their 20's, and we all enjoyed it. It has good looking people, nice settings, nice clothes - and a happy ending. What more could we want?

After seeing the great "Enchanted", I actually was looking forward to seeing "Made of Honor". But it just did not have the same feel-good touch to it, both from a storyline side and acting side. This story is full of holes, so maybe it's a result of bad editing, but it just really drags in several parts, and often contradicts itself. Some of the things you see coming, but then the movie takes its slow time getting to the inevitable. I don't know if this movie was quickly thrown together during Dempsey's availability, but a lot was missing, so we are robbed of endearing moments and good-natured humour. Yet at the start of the movie, we are certainly promised these things... the movie just does not deliver on this opening promises. 5/10, So, so, worth if you don't pay, or if you only pay a little. But this ain't no Enchanted, not even in the same league.

I could not believe how bad this movie was. Truth be told... I almost made a scene. The entire ride home, my friend and I were expleting curse words and laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. Cheap... cheesy and even the popcorn couldn't make it worthwhile. If you must see it, please trust me and wait until it's in the cheap section at your local video store.

This movie almost feels like 27 dresses but a bit more manly and humorous. A very good "chick flick" if you're planning on watching this movie with your loved one. The story line's pretty straight forward and the actors suit their characters in the movie. The music (ex: Oasis, Dash Board Confessionals, etc.) also fits well during the scenes in the film. Worth checking out!

Cinematography is excellent... the panaromic views of Scotland are beautiful... acting is good... plot and directing starts out reasonable then goes over the top... romantic tension builds until it becomes farcial and the plot becomes trite... no surprises in the climax...

Cute movie to see with your girlfriends... totally predictable, totally unrealistic, but thats the type of movie this is and you have to go in expecting a sappy, semi-romantic, chick flick... if u go in with high expectations, you'll be disappointed. Take it for what it is and enjoy. Better yet, wait for the rental.

Sort of unbelievable circumstances in the story line, but hey! Why not? Adorable actors, high caliber comedy, it flows extremely well, some moments are full on hilarious. Patrick Dempsey... well... need I say more? I recommend it, time well spent.

This is one of those movies that you don't immediately intend to see but once you do it's well worth it. Maybe more of a 7.5 than an 8, but still a really good movie to sit back and enjoy without having to try to put too many peices together, in other words, not too much thinking required, just entertainment.

It is a very good story, but they did a terrible, I mean TERRIBLE job of this movie. It seems like all of the dialogue and jokes are all by the book, overused garbage. It's good if you just want to sit there and stare at the screen and not have any idea as to what is going on. Plotline is full of holes and it just wrecks what could've been a good movie.

Chick flick/ yes, but worth the price of admission! The plot is fully developed, the "dog theme overlay" is delightful, the movie flies by with never a dull moment, and even the slapstick humor is enjoyable. Don't miss this one.

I finally went to go see it aftwer waiting like for ever and I loved it Patrick Dempsey is sooo hot (especially riding a horse) I loved how they ended up together at the end. There were a lot of funny moments and I even cried a little bit at the end. I loved them as a couple however I like Meridtih and Derek more (Grey's Anatomy) ps it's Mcdreamy not Macdreamy.

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie but was very disappointed. The story is incredibly predictable (ok, I agree the genre in itself is predictable... but I do enjoy light romantic comedies) but this time I really felt like I waisted my time and money.

As far as romantic comedies go, this one can be missed. There were some bright moments but far too few. It could've been so much more. Wait for the DVD and even if you miss that, you haven't missed much.

I absolutely love Patrick Dempsey... but watching this movie was almost painful, its an uninventive cookie cutter romance. One of my friends said he would never go see a movie when the main pun was the title, kinda wish I had listened - rent this one.

Was very disappointed with this movie. Not much original. Acting was so-so at best. A couple of little laughs but that is it. Something was wrong with the dialogue. I almost walked out half way through it, and I'm usually a fan of these types of movies! Go see Definitely Maybe instead!! (- I give that movie a rating of 8.5 compared to this one.
