The trailer sucked, in my opinion, so I didn't want to go. My Mom dragged me there, and I really liked it! It was an inspiring movie for those who want to loose weight, or just finish their goal. Or even asked someone out! Run Fat Boy Run had great characters, great humor, and a great ending. I liked how it was somewhat predictable, but Denise didn't fully get the girl back. He realizes that he has to slowly earn his way back to her.

Great funny moments although may go over the heads of anyone under 13. Shawn of the Dead is still the classic to beat.

Not enough laughs to make this predictable movie worthwhile. At least the movie moves along quickly. I don't think I'll be ever seeing another David Schwimmer movie again tho. He took no risks at all. At least he's equally talented behind the camera as he is in front of one. Good soundtrack tho. The movie ends up making you smile more than it makes you laugh so it fails as a comedy. But I smiled enough that I can't totally bomb this movie.

I went to see this as I love 'Hot Fuzz'. There were a few quite funny moments, but really very poor entertainment. Disappointing.

Though a bit slow in the beginning, it was a race to the end. Hilarious! Rarely does an entire audience scream and laugh together like this.

Simon Pegg is so hilarious in anything he does, that this movie couldn't go wrong. Admittedly, it was as hilarious as Hott Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead, but there were some really funny parts. We laughed out loud several times. And kudos to David Schwimmer (a. K. a. Ross from Friends) for a good directorial debut.

I expected an average romantic comedy plot and that's what I got. However, the movie is so... cute (and I'm a guy *argh*) and funny that it will leave you smiling.

This film was a safe bet for Director David Schwimmer. The film follows the formula that always sends the audience home with a smile. A good guy messes up his lovelife and spends the entire movie making amends for his short comings. In the end... all is made good and the universe is once again in balance. With a feel good bunch for the cast and an upbeat soundtrack... this movie couldn't fail.

This movie was not my favorite. Funny... it has its moments but really feels like its trying too hard to be funny. Its like its trying to pull off being a movie like..."There's something about Mary" except it really isn't that funny. We got a little bored watching it and the punch lines and jokes weren't very good. This is a renter, not a going to the theatre movie.

This was beyond predictable. Absolute waste of the talent they had. It amazes me how they make a hero out of a loser - but the only way to do it is make the villain really bad at the end to ensure the audience will have to identify with the main character. Save your money and watch any number of U. S. sitcoms and get the exact same result.

Simon Pegg is a comedic gem. No matter the role he always delivers and Run, Fatboy, Run is not exception. Great story, wonderful characters and the humour is spot on. This is a must-see.

I wanted to see this movie even if I didn't knew how it would like, because Simon Pegg is in it and he's one of my favorite actors. In this movie, you can see him has it best. He was funny at the part first time we see him to the end. I laughed, I laughed and I laughed SO MUCH!! I'll go see this movie another time and I recommend this movie to everyone who wants to laugh during an afternoon. One of the best movies I saw so far.

I really like Simon Pegg, and he did good, but I did not really like this movie. I found the jokes to be obvious and cheesy. So many movies have this plot, and it didn't stand out from the rest. Some parts I did enjoy though. What did bother me was the HE WAS NOT FAT!!! If people think that's fat then everyone I know must be obese.

This wasn't an outstanding film (some of the jokes are obvious and some of the characters cartoonish) but we left thinking "that was light and entertaining". I think Simon Pegg is funny, so I enjoyed it.

I loved Simon Pegg in "Shaun of the Dead", and he didn't disappoint in this film. Hank Azzaria as the "villain" of the piece was inspired. Dylan Moran as the best friend/marathon trainer is hysterical... I will remember his name and look for future performances. A witty comedy with pratfalls and locker humour... something for everyone! I heartily recommend this movie.

I'm a big Simon Pegg fan, I have been since Spaced, and Hot Fuzz is one of the best films ever made, so I can't hide the fact that my extreme admiration//love for the guy is what attracted me to Run Fatboy Run. That said, it's a cute movie. It's not a Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright film, but Pegg did do some script re-writes and that's an obvious plus, since Pegg has a very specific sense of humor. The supporting roles are all pretty good, his best friend Gordon (played by Dylan Moran) is a highlight as well. There were some lame jokes, as there were some stellar/subtle ones, but overall it's what I'd classify as a "cute film" - had the role been played by anyone else though, I would not have made a point of seeing it. If you're a Simon Pegg fan, it'll sustain you some. If you're not, it's good for a few laughs.

The movie is very tastefully done, it's not full of stupid slapstick humor. There is a bit here and there but Simon Pegg is his usual hilarious self and pulls off the jokes in each scene beautifully. It's about two guys competing for one girl and obviously you're gonna be routing for Simon Pegg's character but it isn't too far fetched because they don't make the other boyfriend really really bad and evil or anything... overall I was very impressed at David Schwimmer's directorial debut.

Awful. Plain awful. Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran are completely wasted in this piece of Americanized drivel. Watch Pegg's Big Train or Moran's stand up just to see how good these guys can be. Embarrassing."Realistic insight into marathons? " I hope you are joking.

My LOL factor for comedies is generally low but Run Fat Boy Run changed my stats! This isn't a perfect movie but it makes fun of itself (which some might misconstrue as sappy attempts at realism) and the star was perfect! The entire audience was smiling when I stook up to leave.
