Some of this movie was just plain creepy. Other than that, it was above average Ferrel comedy, using the same basic principles of comedy he always uses.

Best and funniest Will Farell movie! It was definitely funnier than all the other movies that he made and better. Loved the crude content and cursing. Hilarious and must see!!

We rented this a few weeks ago. It was like nails on a chalk-board trying to get through it. We love Will Ferrel, but this movie was terrible. It was almost as if they just "winged" the plot, put some swears in, added some testicle shots, and sexual slang... and somehow that made it worthy of making a movie. Very dissapointing for us.

Omg!!! I just rented it and watched it... it was so fricken funny but I wouldn't recommend for people who don't like brutal humor!!!.. and don't let let your 12 year old kids watch it... they shouldn't being watching that stuff!!!

One of the Funniest movies I have seen this year. Crude, foul mouthed characters at their best. Will Ferrell Rocked this movie. Its just plain in your face comedy. Those who get offended quickly should avoid this movie at all costs. Whereas those of you who enjoy comedy and specifically Will Ferell comedy should watch this movie. Its basically all the funny parts from Talladega Nights, except funnier, and more frequently.

Step Brothers is one of those movies that is 'stupid-funny' if that makes sense - a typical Will Farrell flick you can't expect too much from but some silly stupid funny stuff. If you really dislike the humor of Will Farrell I would suggest avoiding this one.

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen... I fell off my chair several times! There are subtle jokes lampooning baby boomers, materialism, the social system, etc. Perhaps we need to rethink our bloated version of the American Dream... Brilliant.

Put your hands up in the air, put your hands up... in the air! I watched this movie while rehearsing my break-dancing moves in a bat cave, 5 miles south of Bowling Green Kentucky. Both Corey Haim & Corey Feldman performed brilliantly, and although not in this movie, they should still be given credit for using good hair gel in the Lost Boys. If you only see one movie in your lifetime, and if like me, you live in a cave, this is certainly it! And remember... great Kahuna Burgers are always served-up at that Hawaiian joint on 3rd!

Either my taste in movies has taken a 180 or hollywood comedies have hit a contrived rock bottom. Somehow I think it's the latter and guys like Will F. hopefully will be replaced by a new fresh breed of comedian because not only was this movie not funny it was excruciating to watch. If you plan to go see this movie make sure you first have a lobotomy.

This movie was horrid!!! I would have had more fun staying at home and staring at my door knob!!! My friends and I went to go see it together and we missed the beginning!!! And after about 5 min I said to my friends "this is really bad!!!" we ended up walking out of the movie and going to see something more taste full!!! If you want to waste your money and have absolutely no fun and end up walking out of the movie go see this!!! If I could rate it any lower it would be a -764!!! The commercials made it seem funny but really it was just stupid!!! I don't see how anybody could find it funny!!! Well that was the first time I have ever walked out of a movie and I would do it again!!! Don't go see this movie!!!

Non-stop laughs!!! The comedy in this movie is genius! We almost didn't see it because my husband (34) didn't like John C. Reilly in the Dewey Cox movie. But he has a new respect for him after this movie. He couldn't stop laughing and slapping his knee. He even had tears in his eyes because he was laughing so hard. We didn't see much buzz about this movie but there should be! Go to this movie if you want to laugh and have a silly time!

It's funny how older people do not understand the comedy of being a general [...] and the crude humor in this movie. Although the jokes are terribly unintelligent, they were delivered as funny as ever. There's nothing wrong with some good simple foul language humor, but if you're a vain "I think I'm so mature" person, you will not like this movie. I, on the other hand, am glad that movies like this and other's of a more mature nature (the big labowski or factotum) are funny in their own ways. [...]

Wow, obviously ppl who are older i.e. middle age ppl aren't going to enjoy this movie or other Will Ferrell movies... He is a very funny comedian/actor targeted towards teens and a younger audience... the older age group didn't understand the comedic use of the "f" bomb... I thought it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, I laughed out loud numerous times.

I can't believe so many people enjoyed this movie. It is the WORST. My kids wanted to see it and we walked out. NO ONE in the theather was laughing... NO One. They use the F-Bomb every 60 seconds!!! Worst Ever... DON'T go. I will never see another Will Farrell movie EVER.

Good, but this is coming from a 13 year old. Depends if you like the kind of humour in it. I thought it was quite funny, I was laughing about two thirds of the time. I really enjoyed it. The only part I wasnt you too phyched about was umm... Will Farrell's Fake Balls... that was a bit strange... I did really liked it though. 9.5 from me, and a heads up for old people who wrote in... yeah this movie wasn't made for OLD people!
