Should had not been rated PG... !!! It's a good movie.. really like it. Its very slow... and it would be perfect just before going to bed. ITs Funny, not that much... but the story is good!!! A father divorced, a wonderful daughter, telling the story about how he met her mother.

Wasn't amazing but it was pretty good. I got bored during the middle, but overall wasn't bad.

I liked the story, it was quite original, and very believable. My wife and I both enjoyed watching the movie together. It's like as if it was based on someone's real life...

Rather slow moving. Creative plot once you get to the end. Definitely not PG - should be PG13 at least.

I thought it was a cute movie. It was funny, and the little girl was a very good actor.

I thought this was a very cute movie. It was sweet and had its romantic parts, and it kept you guessing as to who the child's mother was throughout the whole film. I especially enjoyed the ending, it was very surprising!

It's good, but it's not as cute as it could have been. There are much better romantic comedies out there.

Okay... a bit on the flowery side, but also quite sweet and original. Smartly written. It keeps you guessing until the totally satisfying end! A fun movie that is sure to put a smile on your face.

Super cute and funny movie. A bit gushy, but a perfect chick flick and most guys I feel could sit through it without vomiting. Worth seeing.

Uh, don't even get me started about this so called "Romantic comedy" It's almost as bad as P. S I love. Bored out of my mind here. Oat-meal crisp would be a good cerial to eat during this. Acutually yogurt, so when you fall asleep you won't choke on it. *Yawn *Yawn... oh wait, *yawn. I'm 26, and I have good taste in movies, Everybody I know that has seen this movie, almost or did walk out of the theartre. I know I would. But eh, w/e Watch it if you wish, but don't say that I didn't warn you.

I thought this would be a go-to chick flick to bring a date to but the story was so personal and we both looked at each other half way through the movie... like, is this movie made for us? Fantastic movie, great acting by all, intelligently plotted, it really does have a little of everything. When it ended, I hugged my ex for 3 minutes straight as the credits rolled on lol.

I had such high hopes for this show but was sorely disappointed. I took my kids because it's rated PG but it's definitely not PG. There is so much sexual content that I definitely do not agree with the rating. DO NOT TAKE A CHILD TO THIS MOVIE!!!

Definitely, Maybe has a lot going for it and a lot going on in it. It skillfully blends traditional elements of rom-coms with smart, inventive and original plot twists and complications. Not content to involve just one love interest, this film offers the hero three. Add to it the always adorable and impressive Abigail Breslin as his precocious and wise daughter. The large ensemble cast is universally strong. The charming Ryan Reynolds achieves an easy chemistry with his three leads and tender moments with Breslin. If the busy main plot is not enough, the story also traces the rise of everyday technologies like the internet, the cell phone and the iPod while wryly tying current political events to those from the recent past. With all this going on in the foreground, N. Y. C. is yet another star shining brightly in the background. The cinematography lovingly captures the city in all its magical splendour. The only quibble I have is with the ethical take on a certain crucial scene. What is portrayed as a blatant betrayal designed to reveal a character's more unlikable side can actually be debated as a complex and difficult moral dilemma with no easy answers and no clear right or wrong choice.

I think this movie is an all time favorite but in some parts very dull and gave nothing to lose but overall a VERY excellent movie and I strongly recommend this movie to girls and their friends on a Friday night chick flick.

This was a fresh approach to story telling. What blew me away the most is the character of Maya, the daughter, played by Abigail Breslin who DEFINATLEY was the charm that held the movie together. I enjoyed the mystery and the way in which the story was told. However there were very many parts of this movie that could have been omitted. Although I still enjoyed this movie I would tell you to save your money and rent it. One last thing... definatley not for young girls under ten. MAYBE I would have given this a better rating if the sexual content was completely taken out. It didn't need it.

It wasn't fantastic, but it was worth seeing. It had its cute little moments, and it kept you slightly hooked on who was the mom but other than that... I can't say it would turn out to be your favourite movie, if you know what I mean. But, I liked it.

It was very boring. I felt like the story line ad no purpose. I wish I saw a different , movie, instead of sitting through this boring film.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] After reading the reviews, me and my husband took our 10 year old daughter and her friend to see this movie. It was totally inappropriate! All it talked about was sex, threesomes, girls touching each other which made it very uncomfortable and very hard for my daughter to understand all the political talk. If it was just me and my husband seeing it then I would say total rental, definitely not worth paying to see at the theatre! So to the person who said it was great for their 10 year old, I don't know what kind of material your letting your kids watch but I didn't appreciate mine being taught sex-ed on screen, thanks for the misleading review! To the adults, yes its funny at times but boring overall. Very forgettable.

This movie was worth watching... I was a little skeptical at first because I thought it was just going to another romantic comedy and it was... but it kept you guessing... which many romantic comedies fail to do these days... enjoy.

Ok, this movie was awesome. For what it was (a romantic comedy) they really nailed it. Ryan Reynolds and Abigail were a darling team as father and daughter. Completely enjoyed the story and the final outcome, although I tell you they had me going there and stumped for a minute. I laughed and I cried and I highly recommend this if you want to see a lighthearted, fun, sweet and caring film. I was maybe, no DEFINITELY smiling at the end of this movie ;P.

Cast was good... not much to the movie you kind of scratch your head and ask why.

I went to see it with my best friend, my 10 year old daughter, and her best friend and we all loved it. It was a touching and sweet movie. Ryan Reynolds did an amazing job as always and he had wonderful chemistry with his on screen daughter, they were perfect together. Of course it doesn't hurt that Ryan is extremely hot, but that's not the only great thing in the movie, the storyline and acting is great and you'll love the ending. I would definitely recommend it for a girl's night out or for a guy wanting to score points with his woman, you won't be disappointed.

It was very entertaining movie and of coarse Abigail Breslin is just an amazing little actor. Lots of fun with humor, worth seeing.

Hmmm... you see I was an "extra" for the movie "Just Friends" filmed in Regina, and got to see this so-called fine, comedic Ryan Reynolds at his best. I found him to be an aloof snob, with very little interest in anyone on set except his main co-star and his director. He carried a very serious "don't talk to me" and "if you need me I will be in my trailer" attitude. Unlike other actors for whom I experienced on similar sets and productions - the kind who love mingling and kidding around amongst cast (or at least some kind of minimal social engagement) - this was one actor who was not hospitable nor approachable, period. Seeing him around town at a local Starbucks or social haunt was no different. Without even approaching him, he can carry a very cold persona - approach with caution! He even scowled at a young girl who came up and ask for an autograph. I would say my money will always be better spent never seeing any of his films... and giving my ticket purchase to the guys and girls who appreciate their fans. Sorry, Ryan. You suck.

It was cute, had some really funny moments, but also some VERY dry parts... it is one to see, but I'm not sure that it would be one to own...

From a guys perspective that has been dragged kicking and screaming to too many chick flicks I have to say this is about the best one I have seen in a long time. It’s nice to see it from the guy’s perspective for once. It was a feel good romantic comedy. Certainly worth seeing.

I was honestly not expecting much... even though it was from the producers of Love Actually which I loved... What a surprise!! Funny, light, very enjoyable movie! A +

Great movie with a very strong story line and enough surprises to keep this romantic somewhat humourous tale of daughter discovering her parents origins interesting from start to finish.
