Awesome movie. True to the original, with the same characters, loved the mexican (it might have been a stereotype but he was the funniest) you have to watch the first then second to realy get the story line. I loved how they introduced the story, "big irishmen with big hairy beards" lol. Good hummar, but maby not everyone will like it. I didn't like it how the friends died, but I guess it just makes the story flow better.

Unless you open yourself to a particular movie with a specific feel and even more narrowly-defined intent at pleasing those who want nothing more than a few 9mm induced laughs, stay away. This film is for the niche movie-goer, easily liked or easily disappointed. Check your frontal-lobe at the ticket counter and enjoy!

I don't recommend anybody to spend 10 bucks to see it wait when it comes on dvd or bluray.

Could have been more original - stole too much from Part 1 (flashback scenes, same storyline, less funny, etc.)

I actually liked BDS2 more so than the first! Troy Duffy is amazing. I think all of you haters really need to watch closely... I saw this movie three times, and its worth every penny.

Even better than the first one - soo freakin' funny - although for some reason the kids in the audience didn't seem to think so - no sense of humour:) Should see the first one in order to appreciate the second one...

I was recently converted to the first Boondock Saints movie and had the advantage of not having to wait ten years for the sequel. Even so, I loved it so much. There were parts where I was leaning ahead in my seat. I couldn't get close enough to the screen. Even for those who aren't part of the cult following it is an enjoyable movie without the unneccessary naked ladies and over heroic meatballs. A true shoot-em-up movie is a rare finding these days. THANKS FOR FINISHING IT FINALLY [...]

Huge huge fan of the first one. Could recite it word for word. This one, however was the CHeeeSIEST movie I have ever seen. Not cheese for the humour of it. Just cheesy. Horribly racist as an attempt at humour Sean Patrick Flannery's over botoxed/collagened face was just plain uncomfortable to watch. Clifton Collins juniour left with nothing to do but be a bad mexican stereotype. Terrible movie, second time in my life I walked out. And I loved the first one, still one of my faves, shows how bad this one really is.

This movie was awesome. It did not need to follow exactly the first as its has his own story and the flashback make it usefull for ppl that haven't seen the first. Great movie.

Contained a lot of the good action, directing and humor the first one had. Continues the story pretty well.

A great sequel that was true to the original. Don't go in expecting something this movie isn't intended to be and you'll enjoy it assuming you liked the first one. It seemed like everyone in the theatre had a great time. Duffy did the franchise justice.

I was also very disappointed by the second sequel, what a waste. I usually don't do this but left before the end. A waste of time. Bad music, bad acting, bad jokes... I was a fan of the original, if you expect to be as surprised, captivated and thrilled, you will be disappointed.

Horrible script, terrible acting, hopeless direction, unfathomable editting and extremely annoying musical score. Avoid and count yourself lucky you didn't get sucked in by what had to be fake good reviews like I did.

One of the first movies I've wanted to leave the theatre over. With all the phantom good ratings this received... I thought this would be good. What a joke. Worst directing, writing and film making you will see. Save your money...

After 10 years I expected more but if you are a fan of the first you will not be disappointed. Troy Duffy did not lose touch with his work, and I'm hoping for a third.

One of the Greatest Movies I've seen in along time! Money well spent, for those of you who havent seen the original you will miss out on alot of the inside jokes through out, so make a night of it and watch the original before the sequal!

If you like dark humour, gratuitous violence and a movie that moves along a steady pace without being bogged down with any romance... THEN... this is most definitely the movie for you :D

This is amazing. If you loved the first one- go see it. Right now! Like stop reading and go! All the amazing things, acting, story, music, cinimitography are continued and improved in this one. The new FBI agent is great and continues in Smeckers transition into the saint's word (images of her crossing the Saints when retelling the crimes) I was waiting for this movie for every and was sooo not disappointed. See the first one again then go watch this.

Simply amazing. The movie is everything you expect it to be. Hard hitting action when it makes sense, the true irish culture that boils deep within that most of us wish we could show, explodes onto the screen with the macmanus brothers.

It seems a bit like a wasted opportunity on the part of Mr. Duffy. Don't get me wrong, the film is far from horrible, but much of it seemed, well, stale. I think the biggest thing is that Duffy doesn't improve much from the original. In fact, in many ways, he regresses. What worked for the original was the fact that it was a) unique for it's time and b) consisted of a vision that fit with the story Duffy was telling. All Saints Day lacks in story - greatly. The support characters are just that, characters. Too many jokes that aren't that funny and not nearly enough action. It's a shame, because the film does have it's moments, but it simply did not capitalize on them. Still - if you're a fan of the original, you should see this one out of simple obligation.
