It's rather old, but that's what makes it a classic, I suppose. I found it to own exuberance and originality. My favorite was the tin man; he had the largest heart of all, and didn't realize it. The scarecrow was O. K, but he grew a bit irritating after a bit. The lion was humorous, and I enjoyed his belligerent personality. As a ten year-old girl, I love this kind of movie. Then again, my mother is in her early forties, and she loves it too!!
Good movie!!! I was Dorothy in my school play I had a ball!!! The movie rocks! My favourite part is when the lion gets his courage and the scarecreow gets his brait and the tin man his heart and Dorothy a home!!!
Not to be confused with Fred Savage's The Wizard, this one is an absolute masterpiece whose groundbreaking visuals and deft storytelling are still every bit as resonant. A must-see film for young and old.
