One of the most STUPEDEST movies ever. Let me focus first on the special effects. Which were false and stupid. I hate it when ppl think of the future as " OHH flying cars... and high tech buildings and see through technology and FRIGGEN robots." it's the vintage future that we all feel is going to happen after 2- years. I thought the story was quite unoriginal. I have to agree the first half was like all indian movies. But the second was unoriginal but was a drag. I stopped watching after the stupid robots and that stupid teddy bear walking and talking. And all those other stupid things like playing the XBOX game and wasting friggen 20 minz. I was really looking forward to the movie when they got into the time machine. BUT AS soon as I saw the flying cars and garbage like the snake thing... I was like... indian filmakers are so horrible at depicting the future. Never watch this movie in your life.

If you are looking forward to watch a 3rd-class Hritik impersonator/imposter, this is the movie for you. If you are in the habit of throwing $10 or so in the gutter, then watching this is also an option (but better off to give it to the needy/charity!) But if you like to watch a 'movie' then this 2.5 hr of your "life-waster" is not for you as this is not even a 'Film'... It's CRAP! Did someone say 'Looove Story...'. HA! Does anyone even know what 'Love' means nowadays? Seriously. Actually I'm more disappointed to hear the responses, cuz it only goes to show that our youth is dire need/understanding of it!! There is no 'LOVE' to be found here - not now, not in 2050 -- not in a friggin’ million yrs! Not EVER. A complete FLOPPY 'movie', absolute pathetic regretful and disastrous script. Priyanka's acting is as bad as her looks, actually maybe even worse (i'm sorry but she is FAAR from a 'pretty face' as many seem to suggest... Blahgh! What’s wrong with you people? ).. And Mr Harman (aka Hritik #2), better off a stunt-double for Hritik #1 -- short-lived career, sorry dude. Nothing redeeming here. Ahhh ‘Special Effects’? Wall becomes ‘pink’ in color, or playing XBOX for 15 mins, people walking and dancing in cheap plastic ‘robot costumes’ or wearing a ‘Darth-vadar’ costume from Grandma’s closet? Is this the ‘Special Effects’ everyone keeps talking about? I’ve seen much better and more ‘special effects’ in the 80s, actually 70s even. So plzzz. I'm actually disappointed that there is no '0' on this scale -- anyone who gives more than a 2 for this movie either is a relative of the cast, or a PS2/XBOX child who yet has quite a bit of growing-up to do, especially in the ‘relations’ department. Read a Romance book, travel back to 1947 (ie 'Love Story 1947'), do anything! But do not, I repeat DO NOT even make a mistake of thinking to watch this garbage, as you will undoubtedly lose some crucial brain cells in the process. And by the looks of it our youth, our ‘hope’ for the future (i.e. 2050…hahah) need to hold on very tightly to each and every one of ‘em! 80 crore 4 the CRAPPIEST, HOKIEST Bollywood Cheeese ever. Watch it ONLY for academia purposes of what a ‘Film’ should never ever be, and of course you don’t mind throwing away 10 bucks+ along with a couple of hours of your life and don’t mind losing some more brain cells – by all means this movie is for you. A very Sad event in Bollywood Cinema indeed.

It was the best movie ever I loved the movie it had everything action, romance , drama , I loved every part of the movie and Harman/Priyanka looked awesome I could watch it a million times.

People are being very unjust towards this movie. Yes, it has some conventional/cheesy moments, but which Hindi movie DOESN'T? And since the movie IS titled "love story 2050" obviously the story is going to have a stereotypical romance. This movie is great leap forward on the part of Bollywood. The special effects were amazing, but never overshadowed the actors. I don't understand why people are bashing the 2nd part of the movie so much. The 1st part is what we've seen in every hindi movie whereas the 2nd part is something new. Although the 2nd part does drag on a little bit, I never had the urge to leave the theatre. If anything, I'd like to see it again! New comer Harman is definitely going to go far in the film industry. Worth watching.

This is the worst movie I've seen in a very long time! So long and so boring!! Harman can't act... he needs acting lessons big time. They spent so much time and money on the special effects, they could have spend a fraction of that for the script. Thank God Priyanka Chopra looked so pretty else I would have walked out of the theatre in less than an hour.

Harry Baweja has invested a lot of money and time (more than 3 years) into this project. But the results are bad. Although the movie starts off well with Harman's introduction, it then begins to drag into a series of clichés. The first half of the movie is the usual boy meets girl, falls in love and sings a few songs, the story ends with a twist. With the second half going into future, with lots of special effects you expect something better, but it just painfully drags. With popcorn in your hands, it's hard to resist the need to bury your head deep into the popcorn tub. Not worth the price of your ticket.

Harry Baweja efforts results in a disaster, The love story doesn't connect, the chemistry isn't great, the songs are bad, dialogues are horrible and even the special effects works against the movie, as it takes your attention away from the core story. Harman Baweja in his debut seems to be heavily inspired by Hrithik Roshan, But it's in the acting department that Harman fails disastrously. Priyanka Chopra is also sticking to her irritating mannerisms. To sum up, the movie lies on a wafer thin plot line that makes absolutely no sense. It's a disaster, Advice all to stay away...

Truly a magnificent film. The story line and premise were absolutely fantastic. The writer, of this marvelous masterpiece, is obviously a well spoken anthropologist, as he captures the gestures and communicative skills of the humans in the present time, as well as the future. A truly touching and magical love story, with laughs, tears and joy at every twist and turn. Honestly, who ever does not go see this movie is missing out on a nice romantic evening... 42 years in the future!

You should always beware of a movie where the star is also related to the producer. This movie was so overacted that it was like seeing a dozen Tori Spellings but with less talent. Truly the worst movie I have ever seen! This one will quickly be forgotten.

It is a really long, boring and stupid movie. The special effects are wayyy tooo unrealistic. The 2 hours or so seem way too long, so long, that you'd end up in 2050 trying to finish the movie. Do yourself a favour and save your time :)

Holy smoke I've never seen such a worse movie in my life... complete waste of time and money both, no story line and such a stupid concept, no base... honestly I don't have words to describe that how bad the movie was... only Priyanka looks really pretty in the movie and that's it... when I was watching movie after half an hour it was unbearable for me to sit and watch the movie... so honestly don't waste your money rather throw in the garbage.

Love the visual effects, whole movie is very magical. Harman Baweja is AMAZING omg he makes the entire movie. Great music (he's an awesome dancer!!) perfect love story and lots of action. Go see it!
