Simply put, a cash grab where the movie consists of things that just don't make sense and very poor acting.

I liked this movie, I did not want to go because of some of the reviews I read her. After seeing the movies I liked it. What do expect from a movie that has Mummies in? Come on seriously use your imagination. Me & my girlfriend liked it. It's worth seeing on the big screen.

This movie follows Army of Darkness, but it isn't half the movie. I did not like it at all.

When I first saw the trailers for this movie, I was extremely hesitant. Yet, somehow, I still managed to get swept up in the idea of a new Mummy movie. So, of course, I had to go see it. I knew right away that there would be one aspect of the movie that would never appeal to me. The new actress for the part of Evelyn. While I do like Maria Bello, I just don't believe she would be able to compete with Rachel's performance. And of course, I was right. However, since I already knew I wouldn't be pleased with it, I was able to get over it pretty quickly and focus on other parts of the film. Now, I didn't hate this movie. It was enjoyable. But... sitting here now, its hard to recall what truly made this movie stand out. Truthfully, it fell quite flat. I don't really know what aspect was its downfall, other than perhaps the audience just wasn't ready, or wanting, a third Mummy movie.

Overall entertaining, but the whole thing tried to hard. The strain to create a father/son relationship, the lack of chemistry between Fraser and Weisz's replacement, and the forced comedy makes it all a little transparent. However Michelle Yeoh and Isabella Leong are positively stunning.

If you ever seen the first two movies forget about seeing this one. They have changed the main female character without explaining why she looks so different! The acting went way way down. Bad movie, bad acting total disappointment! Fake looking special effects and horrible story line. Save yourself a few bucks and watch it on dvd, if that.

2 hours of my life that I will never get back. This movie is so bad, not even Jet Li can save it. And what did Michelle Yeoh do to deserve this punishment? Come back Michelle, all is forgiven...

They should have just left it as the two movies. I felt like the main characters didn't even take any part in the movie and they just followed along with these new characters. They had no important role. The special effects though were really good it's the story that fails.

Way too much going on in this movie. The greatness of the first one was that the Mummy himself was creepy and managed to hold his own without loads of CGI creatures and undead armies. And seriously whoever made that prologue should be ashamed. I've never seen Hollywood destroy a nations history so quickly.

Holy Eff, never in all my movie watching years have I wanted to ask for my money back, this movie is epically terrible, Firstly Evelyn his wife is played by a different actress, totally messed me up, their son Went from a cute 12 yr old to a 20 yr old sexual predator, even Brendan F. looks like he needs some Prozac, Two thumbs way down!

Almost too much action and not enough plot. There really wasn't much of a story to follow, just one chase scene to the next. Considering all the time, money and effort that must have gone into this movie, the end result was lacking.

I pretty much enjoy watching it. I think it looks like an adventure movie, maybe a little bit and with action. It is a bit different then the others 1&2 The Mummy Movie, for me. It was fun, enjoyable and cool movie. But small kids should not watch it. If you have not watch it yet, the 1&2 movie, check it out to see it and you will maybe, notice the different with the 3rd one movie of, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. So, have a good time with The Movies, The Mummy 1,2, and 3. Thanks.

I enjoyed the Mummy 3. People quoting it 1 or 3 on 10 are totally exaggerating. There's action, comedy and everything one liked from the previous Mummy movies.

I really wanted to go see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, but it was sold out, so was Mama Mia. So, this movie was sorta like a last minute " I guess we can see this" movie. I thought it was okay, but a bit gory. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. :(

I didn't expect much as from viewing the trailers, Brendan Fraser has lost his adventure side. The violence was the downer of this film, too much for a mummy movie. Its ok. Not the greatest.

It's look like universal picture's finds a clueless guy from the street and force him to write a script about mummy 3 first of all I love Brendan Fraser and the previous mummie's but first of all these guy's were not mummie's Mario Bello was like a grandmother who just make an advise for rick and alex and this more like parent's program's which about how they could treat they teenage boy.

If I could give this film a 'zero' I would. Awful, awful, awful. A six year old could write a better screenplay. If you suffer from insomnia this is the perfect film to help you sleep. (My kid had to wake me up twice)

DISGUSTING!!! Worst mummy movie I have ever seen in my entire life... yaaakkk!!! There was little bit of history (which was ok) but the rest movie was just wasting of my TIME and Money. I will recommend everyone not to watch this movie by spending money... watch it for free if possible ( you will still regret for wasting your money) very disappointing.

Brendan Fraser is sexy like always. It is too bad Rachel Weisz wasn't in this one, because that would have made it much better. All in all it was a well made movie... good graphics but the first two are still better.

Loved this flick and lets face it that's all it is. Yes it is too bad they could not have cast someone as Brendon’s son who looked like he could be his son, and it is too bad Ms Weisz did not return to play the wife, but other than those disappointments and an unnecessarily bad romantic scene between the son and the object of his affections, the movie delivers exactly what it promises - big time entertaining fun. It did not promise to be an Academy Award winning historical drama based on the history of China and anyone knowing the history of the franchise was pretty dumb if they expected anything other than what they got. And thank God it was not another dark and dreary movie about how tough life is and the horrible moral dilemmas that the hero has to face are like those the Dark Knight and The Hulk. Give me action and adventure where the heroes and the audience can both enjoy winking at each other instead of agonizing over whether to save a life or not. Just do it – have some fun its only a movie and if you want the other as well – those flicks are out there too.

I am a huge "Mummy" fan and was so disappointed with this move. The new Evie could not act, nor could the actor who played the grown up child. Brendan Fraser and the guy that play Jonathan carried the whole movie. What a shame. I wouldn't even recommend this on DVD. The script was terrible. Shame on you Universal for allowing this crappy movie to be made. Get back the original Evie, find a new actor to play the grown up kid, and I would consider seeing the next "Mummy" movie.

I suppose, by definition, when armies of resurrected mummies battle on the plains of China one must tolerate clashing terabytes of CGI. The antics become tiresome after the first reel. Brendan Fraser is chummy and earnest but Maria Bello is no Rachel Weisz. The two lack chemistry. Luke Ford as young Alex swashes the buckle well enough but promising relationship tension with Michelle
