Although WALL-E is definitively geared towards children and there is the plot is quite simple, this movie is a masterpiece. As a reluctant watcher, I discovered a movie of brilliant animation, touching characters and a strong message of hope. It would be very hard and pointless for a neophyte like me to get technical about this movie, but I'll just say this: Throughout the entire film I was smiling like a child, and that feeling last long after the movie was finished. So, leave your worries and your problems at the door and go enjoy this truly wonderful film!

This movie was very boring. I found myself wondering when it would all be over! The plot of the story was a little depressing and went over the heads of my nine and seven year old children. I'm surprised people found it so funny. I think Pixar has went a long way in the wrong direction since such hits as Finding Nemo and Toy Story. Kung Fu Panda kicks this movies butt!

Fantastic as always, for adults and kids, and even kids whose first language is not English! The message was great, the characters were sweet and sincere, and I just loved it when they spoke to each other through body language.

Robots in love? Uh,... okay. But guess what? Pixar delivered a fantastic movie. Fun action, entertaining story and awesome animation.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Walt Disney must turn in his grave. Pure environmentalist drivel, no story & no ideas, just nice pictures on a wall. Also, avoid the cinema at Yonge and Sheppard, you will ripped off (more than other places, including the parking) I put the age of my kid (5); he wanted to leave 15 minutes into the movie. This is not a movie for kids, it's for Al Gore, the inventor of environment.

I was pretty surprised, but it was really good, especially since it was done with like four lines of dialouge...

Fantastic story, with great animation to boot. I loved the emotion that was delivered through the mechanical marvels in this film. An absolute must-see. I have now seen it three times! I may end up going again!

Wall-e is very well crafted. If you love high caliber Pixar movies, then this is one of those gems. However, this one is mostly a SILENT movie, so it might feel different if you are more used to action-packed movies. Gotta buy them toys.

This movie was great! It had happy, sad, and many funny moments (we were the only ones in the theatre bursting out laughing all the time for some strange reason though) and it really delivers a strong message. See it now.

Absolutely wonderful! I laughed, I cried, I felt all warm and fuzzy inside - Pixar has done it again! I took my mother and sister to see it with me, and we collectively have wacky senses of humour; but we found it weird how most of the laughter was coming just from us, so either the rest of the audience didn't get the jokes, or didn't find them funny... which is too bad, because this movie I would watch again and again! Brilliant!

I went to this movie with my fiance, having heard good things but not really knowing what it was about. We took our (adult) friends as well, both of whom were 'indifferent' to seeing the movie but wanted a night out. We all left the theatre with big grins on our faces. Graphics were fantastic, plot was great - plenty of laughs for us grown-ups, and an important underlying message as well (that didn't overwhelm the fun aspect of the movie) I loved it, well worth seeing!

Wow! I really enjoy movies in this genre. But Wall-E was amazing! It is so adorable and it also teaches a lesson about love and self-worth. Pixar pictures are always great! You can't help but show emotions during this movie. You feel for Wall-E and you relate with him and his plight! He is so cute! This was an outstanding achievement! I highly recommend seeing this gem! For children of all ages!!

Animation is great. Disney outdid itself. But the story does seem to stretch a little in the middle. Still, very fun to watch. Really cute.

Cute movie. Story moved somewhat slowly though, especially for my 12 year old companion. Very interesting visually (Eva has all the hallmarks of an Apple device which is not suprising considering Pixar's role) and one can't help but fall in love with Wall-E.

Wall E was Pixar's best ever movie! It was adorable for kids, and had humor in my opinion for all ages to enjoy. I was with my little sister and mom watching Wall E in the theatre and it was thoroughly enjoyable. It had cute insight as to what the world is coming too in it's wasteful ways. Just an awesome movie!! A must see!!

This movie was extremely boring and unentertaining. My 6 year old child asked so many times when the movie was going to be over and could she go home. I actually fell asleep for the first 1/2 hour. Having said this, the movie did have a good meaning in the end but this could have been done in the first 5 minutes and we could have left the theatre for a great dinner.

A very sweet movie for all ages. I cried at one point; the robots have human feelings. The movie also made excellent commentary about the damage we're doing to our environment, as well as our own health. I took my little brothers and my boyfriend to this movie -- everyone left the theatre happy.

This was probably one of the best animated movies I have ever seen in my life. There are many reasons for this, but I will explain a few in this review. First of all, Pixar has never disappointed me. Since Toy Story, I have loved pretty much all the creations that the crew has thought up of. This is no exception, as it is definitely a contender many different awards. Second off, WALL-E is a creative and well thought-out story. Set in the 29th century, about 700 years since mankind left Earth because of an overwhelming garbage problem, only one robot remains on Earth, continuing to clean up the planet. I won't give out a full summary, because that'll be a spoiler to viewers who haven't seen it yet, even after 6 weeks of public screenings in local theatres. Third, the execution is brilliant. Compared to the past few animated movies, this blows them all away. It makes me wonder if it took them forever to get the light and shading, and animating together. It takes a lot of skill (and patience) to put this all together. Lastly, the unique bits such as little dialogue and live action cameos is what makes this movie stand out. This is probably the first Pixar movie to blend live action with computer animation, and quite possibly the first since Happy Feet from two years ago. T |
