Kinda predictable, though for me it was a so-so nice movie. Only went to see it with my friend who's a romance/comedy fan, so she loved it.

It was your typical love story... could have told you what was going to happen from the beginning. Was quite dull but he's smokin hot so it made it okay.

Cinematography is excellent... the panaromic views of Scotland are beautiful... acting is good... plot and directing starts out reasonable then goes over the top... romantic tension builds until it becomes farcial and the plot becomes trite... no surprises in the climax...

Cute movie to see with your girlfriends... totally predictable, totally unrealistic, but thats the type of movie this is and you have to go in expecting a sappy, semi-romantic, chick flick... if u go in with high expectations, you'll be disappointed. Take it for what it is and enjoy. Better yet, wait for the rental.

Ooohh, I loved the movie and specially Patrick! He is the best of best! The girl was a bit annoying and stupid but it's ok, at the end at least, she got smarter :) Would see again :)

It is sooo cute and funny! I really hope u all see it, it is the best movie ever (Next to 27 dresses) OMG McDREAMY (Dempsey) IS SO HOT.

Sort of unbelievable circumstances in the story line, but hey! Why not? Adorable actors, high caliber comedy, it flows extremely well, some moments are full on hilarious. Patrick Dempsey... well... need I say more? I recommend it, time well spent.

This is one of those movies that you don't immediately intend to see but once you do it's well worth it. Maybe more of a 7.5 than an 8, but still a really good movie to sit back and enjoy without having to try to put too many peices together, in other words, not too much thinking required, just entertainment.

It is a very good story, but they did a terrible, I mean TERRIBLE job of this movie. It seems like all of the dialogue and jokes are all by the book, overused garbage. It's good if you just want to sit there and stare at the screen and not have any idea as to what is going on. Plotline is full of holes and it just wrecks what could've been a good movie.

Chick flick/ yes, but worth the price of admission! The plot is fully developed, the "dog theme overlay" is delightful, the movie flies by with never a dull moment, and even the slapstick humor is enjoyable. Don't miss this one.
