Overall, it's not bad. I'd say the first hour has some long and boring parts, with way too much toilet humour. But things get much better (and funnier!) by the end!

Ugh. The comercials made the movie seem entertaining but when I actually saw it I almost immediatly wanted to walk out. Now don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of will ferrel but I REALLY did not need to see his balls. NOTHX.

It's funny how older people do not understand the comedy of being a general [...] and the crude humor in this movie. Although the jokes are terribly unintelligent, they were delivered as funny as ever. There's nothing wrong with some good simple foul language humor, but if you're a vain "I think I'm so mature" person, you will not like this movie. I, on the other hand, am glad that movies like this and other's of a more mature nature (the big labowski or factotum) are funny in their own ways. [...]

Wow, obviously ppl who are older i.e. middle age ppl aren't going to enjoy this movie or other Will Ferrell movies... He is a very funny comedian/actor targeted towards teens and a younger audience... the older age group didn't understand the comedic use of the "f" bomb... I thought it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, I laughed out loud numerous times.

I can't believe so many people enjoyed this movie. It is the WORST. My kids wanted to see it and we walked out. NO ONE in the theather was laughing... NO One. They use the F-Bomb every 60 seconds!!! Worst Ever... DON'T go. I will never see another Will Farrell movie EVER.

Good, but this is coming from a 13 year old. Depends if you like the kind of humour in it. I thought it was quite funny, I was laughing about two thirds of the time. I really enjoyed it. The only part I wasnt you too phyched about was umm... Will Farrell's Fake Balls... that was a bit strange... I did really liked it though. 9.5 from me, and a heads up for old people who wrote in... yeah this movie wasn't made for OLD people!

Wicked movie, hilarious! I was skeptical about this movie going into it as I thought will Ferrell's last few movies weren't very good especially Semi Pro. But this movie is awesome, Will Ferrell brings back the old school days a little bit of swearing and obscene humor not for the little ones.

An outstanding performance by Will and John. Great laughs. Almost a Saturday Night live skit that has long been overdue. Yes it's silly but that's what one expects when watching the previews. This movie does not disappoint and is not short on laughs.

Did not enjoy this movie at all, I can't believe people that actually think the f word is so funny, it was vulgar and just plain immature humor. I also cannot believe that parents actually brought kids to this movie, I must say I have never been to a worse movie. Don't waste your money on this one.

A Fantastic movie!!! Hands down beats Pineapple Express!!! Unless you're a junkie stoner that laughs at anything that is even semi-funny... I loved Superbad, but Pineapple Express really lacks in comparison... don't waste your money, CHECKOUT THIS MOVIE.

Attention Will Ferrell fans: he has now been forgiven for Semi-Pro!!! Step Brothers is a wildly funny movie, as long as you are ok with foul language and sex jokes. Because it's plastered with such crude humour. But it delivers the laughs a plenty, and for a comedy that runs 1 hour and 42 minutes, it surprisingly does not have a lull. Ferrell and Reilly re-create that magic that made Talladega Nights so funny, except that in Step Brothers, they are both feature players, whereas in Talladega, it was mostly Ferrell getting the laughs with Reilly as a sidebar. So, if you are in the mood for some wild language and not too serious acting or storyline, then Step Brothers is for you. But we warned, some of the jokes are pretty out there!!! 8/10, great movie, don't miss it (if you are a fan of such movies!!!)
