Very interesting - a true eye-opener to how things were.

A very beautiful and gently inspiring movie. I think this film should become part of international development studies.

I have seen this documentary 4 times now. It is a truly a story of how spirit and culture saved many lives, it is underestimated, and I think more powerful than it appears.

I thought the movie was terrible, it had no story line and was too long and boring, do not see this movie.

I had no idea about the history of Estonia and how closely connected the people are. This movie made me proud to have these strong people in my heritage. An incredible bond exists among the Estonian people and it was well portrayed in the film. The music is beautiful as well.

This movie shows the world that fighting for freedom doesn't mean you need to use violence and that no matter the size of a population there is hope in gaining freedom. There is much to be learned from the Estonians.

This film shows the power of ethnic identity but is likely to be of interest only to those who have some kind of direct interest in the Baltic countries. It's really a documentary but has a dramatic storyline as it shows the slow escape of the Estonians from various outside oppression, particularly by Soviet Russia.

This film should be standard viewing for everyone as most people outside of the Baltics have no idea what was happening in these countries under the oppression of both the Germans and the Soviets. Despite all that, this film is incredibly inspiring and shows the true strength of such a small nation and what can be achieved without violence of any kind. Absolutely brilliant!!
