I am a huge fan of this movie. For me to it is nice seeing a movie where no one is killing each other... I am so in love with the guy who played Roger. Austin MacDonald He looks so different in the movie so does Abigail with short blonde hair!!

I am an American expat and grew up with the American Girl dolls and stories. I was excited to go see the adaptation of the Kit book series on the big screen and wasn't disappointed. The movie depicts an accurate picture of the U. S. (and it's relevant to Canada, too - the recession was fairly global) in the 1930's, with excellent acting. The storyline was a bit predictable maybe for adults, but it was imaginative enough to hold my interest and the younger girls in the audience seemed to enjoy it. I certainly found it more interesting than most movies I've seen this year and wasn't bored for a second. A must-see if you have a young girl (or happened to grow up with the American Girls like me)!

This is feel good delightful movie. Possibly predictable but a pleasure to watch. Very good performances by young and veteran actors. Don't go if you are looking for Violence, nudity and course language.

Imagine Jesus riding a shark, killing zombie vikings and liberals, while shredding on his axe, and you have a vague idea of how much this movie is going to blow your mind.

If there are some things I hate it is pre marital sex, movies with violence and kids with no manners but Kit Kittredge conveys the opposite of that if you want a good movie with good morals go see it now.

I really enjoyed this movie. It reminded me of the matinee's I used to see as a child. Good clean fun, no swearing, no sex and a good moral. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this movie. I am a doll collector, and own Kit from the 1934 era. Therefore I knew what the movie was going to be about, but didn't know the plot line as I hadn't read the book that goes with the doll. I took my mom with, to celebrate her 75th birthday. She was born in 1933 so she could relate to Kit's era. She enjoyed the movie immensely! So did my Dad; he kept commenting on the old cars! It was a very well done movie, and I was pleased with it. I'm rather tired of violent, crazed movies, so this hit the spot!

Fantastic movie for the family, great story and message for everyone. Fun, lively, funny and sad and a very nice change from sitting through yet another cute/ghastly animated movie.

This story is sad but is not far off from what is happening now. The film is not a great one but wholesome entertainment and enjoyable. I think kids will like it better than adults.

It's a cute little film. The kid actor is excellent and the story is very timely given what is going on in the States. I thought it was a little sappy but worth the ticket price.

My daughter and I loved the movie. Kinda sad as I'm sure alot of the folks in the US that are having their homes foreclosed on can relate. Great history lesson.
