Great movie! Fantastic for kids and adults:) Story line was well developed. Veggie Tales should make another movie after this one!

My kids liked, but not loved, this movie. It was definitely not as good as past Veggie Tales movies. At any rate, my husband and I got to have a nice long nap while the kids watched. Ha Ha!

I thought it was just o.k. I'm getting a little bit old for it--I'll be turning eleven in June. However, it was bearable, at least, in this circumstance it was. I was in a pretty tolerant mood, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have been able to stand it. Certainly could be a lot better, but I'm sure that children under the age of seven would thoroughly enjoy it. There is no real sense of sudden exuberance or a die of adventure. It is very consistent. If you are a fan of Veggie Tales and its religious statements, I'm sure you will like it. Lame idea, though. I didn't enjoy the fact that all of them were vegetables, mind you, I can't expect anything else when I go to see a movie called 'Veggie Tales'! LOL! Anyhow, look into this at your own discretion. I don't think it's suitable for every family, and some people may find some ideas religiously offensive. At times, it gets slightly boring, so stay on guard. There are really no predictions that you can educatedly make until you see the movie; unless the trailer is excruciating. You have to see the movie to know whether our ratings are reliable first...

This movie was pretty cute. My daughter really liked it, as did my three year old. Great for kids. I can't really comment fairly, since I have different interests movie-wise then children do. Although I was an adult, this was one of those movies I would call 'bearable, ' or to be nicer 'cute.'

Nice to finally see a child's movie that doesn't teach the children rude behavior & inappropriate language! Our boys really enjoyed this piratey tale with a positive twist!!!

It was completely debasing. I can't believe they let kids watch this. Please, be responsible and keep your children as far away from "VeggieTales" as possible.

It was very funny. I liked the part when Larry and everyone else were in the boat and they were going down the stairs and Larry said it's more fun when you put your hands in the air. A well done family movie!

This is the first movie my 3-year-old has sat through in its entirety- twice! It's great for young children and it was entertaining for me as well.

MUST SEE! A delightful film for young and old, the intricate character development operates on so many levels. Levels both conscious and sub-conscious, both concrete and abstract, both terrestrial and extra-terrestrial. Furthermore, the plot with its many highs and lows, twists and turns, ups and downs, and last but not least ins and outs kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. At the same time, I could feel a smooth comfort in my heart and soul as I was guided along this magical journey. 11/10.

This is one of the worst movies ever. If anyone other than kids under the age of 7 enjoy this movie than they are weird freaks!!!

I can't believe people rated this movie well! It was entirely predictable, lacked much in the way of humor (but what you see in the previews), and totally uninspirational. (this from someone who likes some of the other Veggie Tales stuff) Not worth seeing unless you have very young children and can't find anything to watch.

Its good if you dont have friends talking. I wish it was more on the fact that veggie tales is a Christian background and it should have stayed that was.

When I went to see this movie, I had just come from a nice long afternoon nap, and I was worried it might continue through the movie. Luckily, my fears were wildly misplaced; I made it through the movie, as well as the additional three times I went back to re-watch it! I loved it, my grandkids loved it, even my nurse, who is a sullen 21 year-old, loved it! I has the music stuck in my head for weeks, and even went on this site my grandkids called "U-tube" to learn the dance. A must-see.

I thought the movie was very poor. I didn't always see what kind of "vegetables" they were supposed to be. The characters didn't have arms or legs? Good God. I thought it was excruciating.

This film was awfull, I was bored to death, so were my childrens, no in fact they were traumatised by this this film, my youngest even cryed at the middle of the film to tell you how horrible it is it, though it was nice he cried because I could skip a big 30 mins outside the romm.

My husband and I took the kids (6 and 3) to see this movie. I was expecting the youngest to not sit still at all. This was his 2nd time going to the theatre. He sat better than my 6 year old to be quite honest. If you have younger kids and nothing to do take them to see this movie. You won't regret it. My 3 year old left the theatre saying arrr maaatie. LOL.

Bob the tomato really pulled out all the stops in this epic animation masterpiece. The 'Silly Songs With Larry' segment was the best I have ever seen, and I have heard rumours of a 2009 Grammy nomination through my contacts in the movie industry. I strongly recommend this film for families, dates, group outings, and after parties. Congratulations to the Christian film community, this tops the 'Left Behind' movies.

Dull and unimaginative. A complete snorer that had both of my kids fidgeting and actually asking "when will this be over"? Flat, uninspired characters with annoying voices, wasting time and your money. At best, there is enough material here for a 5 minute short. This makes Shrek, or Finding Nemo, or any other similar film seem like sheer genius in comparison. As a final observation, the crowd at the end of the movie was quiet and subdued. Not what you'd expect from a theatre full of little ones who'd just seen something good. If I hadn't thrown away my ticket stubs before entering the theatre I would have demanded a refund. Please, don't make any more.

Really enjoyed the humor and found it to be a fun, rollicking movie. Caution though - some kids will find it scary. Crying kids near us.

The kids loved it, I enjoyed it, it works very well visually. It can be enjoyed by secular types like me, the Christian message being more metaphorical than literal, making it more moral than really religious. There is no valid reason to miss this if you have kids that want to see a movie.

I LOVE veggie tales. It was so good, and such a good message. I just wish that the pirates were the same pirates as were in Jonah. My kids loved it too!

My 4 year old was not into the movie and 4 adults in the theatre that I knew almost fell asleep. This is the worst veggie tale movie yet. They had nothing original in this movie and the story line and humor were not really there. Previous veggie tales movie were so well done. This one lacked everything. What happened?

With the sale of Big Idea, I guess they thought it wasn't important to keep a biblical based storyline. I felt that it lacked what made it a hit in the first place, including a role for Bob The tomato. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible and was it appropriate for children. It just wasn't the same Veggie Tales! They didn't even include their trademark theme song!

Took my kids to see it today. REFRESHING to see a movie that's funny (without crude humor), good moral message, great animation, excellent music (especially the remake of the B-52's song - won't spoil it by mentioning the name) You can take your kids to it and not be embarrassed. We had a great time. Enjoy the show!

My daughter 3 yo and I enjoyed watching this movie; she's a big fan of Veggietales. Reserved by the crowd since VeggieTales is primarily Christian stories told from the bible and I think that they did a great job at presenting something different from what they usually do. I thought that this movie was as much fun as the previous one, Jonah. I think it's a great movie to watch as a family and since there is no mild violence or coarse language kids of any age will enjoy this movie.
