Get off the net and go see this movie. Forget crappy Spiderman movies... Ironman is the one you want to see. Lots of action and some funny parts.

Great movie. At the start it has a very interesting insight into how war is with the whole SUV part and then the ten rings go and blow up the convoy and take Tony Stark captive. All in all it is a great movie.

I thought it was amazing on practically every turn the plotline took. Great climax, great story, great casting. All I didn't enjoy was that the movie focused more on his origin, and not the usual superhero fighting supervillain movie.

Wow. Was not expecting it to be this good. Robert Downey Jr. was absolutely amazing. Very funny, great action. Might be a better movie than Dark Knight.

I was skeptical of going to this movie at first because I usually don't care for Superhero movies but all my fears went out the window with this movie. The plot is a little out there but still believable in the movie context. Some good comic relief and suspenseful is apparent in the movie as well. Good acting and good special effects. Much better than the terrible Hulk movie that was released shortly after this.

As a superhero fan, I'd like to mention that Iron Man is one of Marvel films's greatest realisation. I got to have a good look on this awesome character. Adrenaline fueled fun guaranteed.

Another great comic book movie to add to your list. Robert Downey Jr. Plays a great Tony Stark, he definitely embraced every aspect of the character. I was even pleasantly surprised by Gwyneth Paltrow's performance as his always reliable assistant. I enjoyed the story as much as I did the special effects. A great movie.

If you like superheroes and are a little turned off by gritty or grim violence, then this is the action movie of the summer. Simple, clear, and fun to watch.

Great comic book adaption. I wasn't sure if Robert Downey was the best choice for tony stark but I was definitely wrong. He was outstanding in the role. He special effects were awesome and the story line and plot were well done. The end of the movie hinted at a few more potential comic book movies hopefully to come.

Downey Jr. is outstanding. Movie has full range of emotion, startle, laughter, and... wow. Particularly enjoyable for those who don't know the real comic book story. Beats any superhero film to date.

Great movie!!! Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was a stroke of genius, and Marvel has pumped out another great movie! Between the plot, action packed scenes, cast and effects, it becomes a movie that people cannot miss seeing in 2008. Can't wait for Marvel to produce the next few sequels!

The concept, the actors, and the animation was all there except for the fact that the cheesy lines, the laughable way at how some of the events unfolded made it a poor movie at best. The concept of building a suit of armor with flame throwers, boosters to make him fly and impervious to bullets all in one night was ridiculous (not to mention the conviently disguised rocket pods) The fight scenes were few and also rather short. Perhaps from all the hype I came to see the movie with too high of expectations but to me the movie seemed as nothing more than a Hollywood cash cow. Bravo Hollywood mission achieved.

I was sceptic to see this movie and didn't have high hopes with this movie. But surprisingly enough it was a fast paced movie excellent for kids or kids and the rest of the movie. I was very happily surprised how good the movie was and recommended it to many people.

Iron Man is near perfect. Mixing politics (somewhat), a smart plot, well-rounded characters, and great special effects, this brings a new level of emotional understanding to a superhero not seen since Spider-Man 2. Ending lacked somewhat; not going to reveal anything. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as a comical cynic and brought real depth to the character of Tony Stark. Gwyneth Paltrow somewhat cliche but funny as Pepper Potts. Terrence Howard was a great addition as Army officer Rhodey. Jeff Bridges spot-on as corporate enemy but went through too many character shifts. Anyway, it has a little bit of everything and balances everything perfectly. Best movie of 2008 so far.
