It was a great movie. The second Wimpy Kid was better, but this is still very good.

A good installment to this series. Lovely to see the gang again. What A Time!!!
| 7/10 | shazjoao@ - 1728 reviews 11.29.2012 |
Really bad... Very unrealistic and corny. I hope this one is the last in the series.
| 2/10 | polly.goldberg@ - 2 reviews 11.18.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Not the best of the 3 movie franchise. Corny in some spots and not as much of an underdog as in the previous movies. My 12 yr old is a fan and rated it higher. Maybe I'm just getting tired of wimpy kids? Was cute, predictable and hopefully the last wimpy kid movie. Rent it and you'll be further ahead.

It was funny but a bit cheezy. In my opinion it sucked.
| 3/10 | ctihga@ - first review 10.19.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Most people must have had a boring childhood because I can completely relate to these characters and most of the situations they find themselves in. A really funny family comedy. Filled with heart and good life lessons for everybody. Although I think the second one was funnier this one holds its own against the others. A great way to spend a couple hours with the family.

Movie was fun to watch and Had a good ending!
| 8/10 | cft_elitefitness@ - 50 reviews 10.3.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Because the movie reminds me of something that happened to me in the past, and it relates many examples, kids have to learn some examples for their lives.

Um I like this movie :D it is so awesome it is so awesome.

It funny. And amazing and they can't do anything.
| 9/10 | richardmungo@ - first review 9.22.2012 - age: 1-12 |
This movie was horrible. The plot was just bad. It depicts terrible parenting, terrible kids, and quite frankly, the kid was such a wimp I wanted to pick on him myself.
| 3/10 | cthagreekgod@ - first review 9.14.2012 - age: 26-35 |
This is a typical show depicting bad parenting and loud obnoxious youth. We did not find it a bit funny and I wouldn't want my kids or grand kids to see it. We walked out, something we never do.

| 10/10 | leo_1234@ - first review 8.29.2012 - age: 1-12 |
I enjoyed watching the movie, I didn't regret seeing it. It's a great family movie although I'll admit I love it because of Rodrick (Devon Bostick). Unfortunately he wasn't as present in the movie as he was in the second one. Kids definitely seemed to enjoy the movie though.
| 7/10 | j_loloj@ - first review 8.28.2012 - age: 13-17 |
A fine addition to the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series. It doesn't build upon the other films, yet it deals with relationships. Jeff Kinney's script is emotionally strung together. It enhances this movie by displaying an understandable father-son relationship. The whole cast does a great job, though nobody shines beyond expectations. Altogether, this is a fun film that puts forth life lessons. It does suffer from a predictable plot and unrealistic situations, but otherwise its recommended for all fans of the book series.

Alright. This is an honest review from a mother whose 3 boys are obsessed with the novels and who absolutely adored 1 and 2. This one sucked. The humor, if there is any, is just bland, completely a bore. If it is a kids movie, why is there so much dating crap that seems to be what the story is really focused on? The second one is by far, the best. After this one, I am not taking my kids to see another for a sense that Diary of A wimpy kid movie days are over.

Cute movie... my boys loved it and I enjoyed it just as much!
| 8/10 | tracymusie@ - first review 8.27.2012 - age: 36-49 |
AWE-SOME... my siblings would go CRAY-ZAY for this movie. It's a child movie, to be honest. Parents might enjoy it though. Like comedies? Then u gotta watch this!! :)
| 9/10 | krazexrere@ - first review 8.26.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Very, very awesome movie. Some parts are very funny that you can't stop laughing.
| 9/10 | lolochixo@ - 2 reviews 8.26.2012 - age: 1-12 |
Well it could have been more funnny and more good parts. Well it's still WORTH seeing.
| 7/10 | dinajay@ - first review 8.23.2012 - age: 1-12 |
Very cheesy and just not very funny or entertaining. Not close to being as good as the book and this was probably the worst movie of the three. The first movie was very mediocre while I felt the second one was easily the best of the three although that's not exactly saying a whole lot. The problem with all of the movies is the wit is dumbed down from the books and some scenes just don't translate well. The movies lack intelligence and this bordered on Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 quality (horrid) If they do another movie they are going to have to change actors. Greg's voice changed and he'll be shaving soon for crying out loud.
| 4/10 | rudy.dyck@ - 26 reviews 8.22.2012 - age: 36-49 |
The Diary of a Wimpy kid movies are AMAZING! The third movie is the best of all. It's so funny! Greg just even more funny and dorky by the minute. This obviously [is] a must see film. But I would only suggest it to kids with a sense of humour and adults with a taste for laughter. People who don't like comedy's, well this isn't the movie for you!!! :)
| 9/10 | kitty.kat.katie@ - first review 8.21.2012 - age: 1-12 |
It was a great movie and funny for the whole family.
| 10/10 | kaasbirdi@ - first review 8.20.2012 - age: 13-17 |
My 10 year old and I both enjoyed this movie. I liked it better than 2, and not as much as the original. Parts of it stayed true to the books, others took great creative liberties. There were some laugh out loud parts for sure. Other scenes, where the main character embarrassed himself beyond belief, were uncomfortable to watch--much like the second movie. Would be a great one to show as a renter at a birthday party.

I took my nieces to see this one. It was very cute. I personally like the 1st the best but my nieces liked this one just as much.

| 10/10 | blue.berry.brown@ - first review 8.13.2012 - age: 1-12 |
I loved the 1st one and then the 2nd was disappointing but the 3rd brings it all back. It has its funny moments and serious ones. The kids are getting a little too old for the roles so hopefully there will not be another one. Kids enjoyed, I did too.
| 7/10 | prefernothing@ - 127 reviews 8.13.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Alright, I know people say that sequels are not the same, but this was the best movie of the series! It was hilarious, take your children to go see it, even adults will enjoy it!

First things first, there needs to be more RODRICK! My favorite part is when it ended.
| 4/10 | jonhackenbeckakasexyjon@ - first review 8.10.2012 - age: 50+ |
Not a bad movie by any means but definitely not worthy of a 9+ rating. It was funny at times, mostly silly and that pretty much sums it. A silly movie about teenage kids growing up done with over the top humor.
| 5/10 | sacoca_@ - 653 reviews 8.10.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Good family movie. There were some really funny parts.
| 7/10 | so-sweet13@ - 41 reviews 8.9.2012 - age: 13-17 |
It's hard to believe this movie has gotten good reviews from people because it wasn't good at all. It was slow & boring. The kid behind me summed it up so elegantly by saying, "this is boring" lol. I hope they stop with these movies.
