This movie was not very good. The first movie was better. I disliked the action and the suspense is not very present in the movie. The soundtrack was not very good. I liked the acting because the actor played their role perfectly. Example, there were three scenes with action and the suspense, and the dad in the movie has not fear. The music in this film wasn't very good because there was not really of music in the movie. Example in the movie there was one music in all of the movie. The fight was very good and also the stunt was very beautiful. Example in the end of the movie Liam Neeson, the dad of Famke Janssen, the girl fought with an enemy and is very cool. This movie was not worth seeing, the movie was not very long, the history in the movie was not very cool and I give four stars for this movie.

The sequel to what was original and thrilling is dull and uninteresting. The excitement is gone and this film requires something well beyond a complete utter suspension of disbelief just to get through it. I fell asleep.

Far from being as good as the first one. The plot and outcome were very obvious, which downgraded this sequel. Nonetheless it is still "entertaining" to see on a weeknight. Liam is a good actor, I could see him playing similar roles in the future.

Nothing like the first one. Movie was ok I guess but definitely not worth the 60$ spent that night when you include Popcorn and Drinks etc. Movie you watch at home when there's not much else to watch.

Although I never saw the first movie, I liked this one especially Neeson's role was great especially the gun scenes. I also liked the way he uses sounds, calculates destinations and locations. Also liked the driving scenes.

Not as good as the original but Liam Neeson still has it. Hopefully, the next one will be better with storylines and bad%ss villains.

A good one to see, it had good suspense and was an awesome thriller. A good sequel so to speak. Can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I like it. Brave girl and beautiful too. However, I can't believe they can arrange this into Action category, there was not much action (I mean fighting, do not think I mean it by "not enough")

I loved the first Taken and Liam Neeson's character. This sequel does not disappoint.

Go, only if you like action movies and need to escape to... well, Istanbul. Just one comment, if the daughter had driven for the driver's license examiner the way she drove for her father, that would've been a slam dunk! Lol!

It was predictable. I watched it because of Liam. It should have been longer and more of story maybe showing them getting closer before all the action started.

I went cause of Liam, but didn't enjoy this time, I still like the first one. If you just wanna watch a movie just go, don't think too much.

Since I saw Taken, I felt the need to see the sequel. I enjoyed the suspense/thriller emotions it instilled. Although the ending is predictible the special tactics were entertaining. I wouldn't go to a Taken 3, but if you have seen the first movie, give this one a chance.

Definitely not as good as the first. In fact, no even close. There were a few good scenes, and of course, Liam was wonderful as usual, but overall, it laked the intensity of the first. Also, the fact that he got his daughter involved in the danger made it somewhat unrealistic.

The action and suspense were incredible. We were sitting on the edge of our seat the entire time. I love Liam Neeson. I think he is an amazing actor and producer. I have watched and enjoyed all his movies.

This was a very good action packed movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I may even forgive Liam Neeson for that horrid "The Grey" as this one makes up for it.

Predicable and very similliar to the original but it's a formula that works. As a standalone movie, it be an easy 8 minimum, but unfortunately if comparing it to the original, it's a 7. Fast pace action, few laughs and suspense.

It's an excellent movie, I loved it and I'm going to see it again. I just love how there is so much action and the actor Liam Neeson, well to me is good looking and he is the best actor for this movie. I just feel like this movie is a must see and you gotta see it now.

Great continuation from Taken 1... lots of action from the beginning. Liam is a super action star and it was enjoyed from beginning to end.

The only good thing about this movie is that it keeps you on the edge of your seat and/or feeling like you're having a heart attack every 5 minutes. It's the same story as the last one except for a few twists here and there. Still an excellent thriller and worth the money. But if you didn't like the first Taken then don't bother with this one.

Great movie- I was at the edge of my seat the whole time, action packed - but the only thing is that the ending could've been better. That doesn't stop it from being a must see movie!

I loved this movie as a follow-up to Taken. I couldn't believe it when it was over; it didn't let up for one minute! I can't understand the low rating it is getting.

I found the first Taken to be a wonderful action packed film but Taken 2 to be a sleeper for the price I paid. On dollar night, it would've been well worth it, but reg price at the movies... NO!!! I found the plot to be that one of a 10 yr old could make and maybe that is going to far. The car chases were very slow and no energy in them and the story plot with nothing new. I think the previews before the movie was the best part... RED DAWN, now that's a movie to see.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
A very thin plot line to justify the obligatory fights, car chases, and foot chases through exotic scenery. The continuity guy should have watched the editing work. The car chase scene in the little mercedes taxi cab is laughable. Liam Neeson has the infinite ammunition hand gun, and the car can absorb a truly AMAZING amount of crashes with absolutely no damage. The characters could have been more nuanced, not just the pure evil of the "grieving" father.

We saw the first Taken and greatly enjoyed the movie. This second one was also very well done. The wife and I again enjoyed this movie which is packed with excitement up until the end.

Very good movie. Liam Neeson is terrific. The only bad thing about the movie are the fight scenes. I get that Neeson is 60 years old but they could have made the fight scenes look a bit more real.

It gets you on the edge of your seat... lots of suspense but unrealistic. Love Liam Neeson so you can't go wrong. All in all... good movie.

The movie has emotion, yes; action yes; good acting, believe it or not, yes; however, the plot is so lowbrow that a ten-year-old could have planned it... better. Good acting can go a long way because it reeeally helps here. However, good acting and a bad plot is a lot like having the opportunity to drive a brand new Lamborghini, but just as you slide into the sumptuous leather seats and turn the ignition, you discover a Briggs & Stratton lawnmower engine is sputtering away under the hood. So you can look at it; you can admire it; you can even sit in it; but you’d be embarrassed to drive it because the engine (the plot) can’t actually haul the car (the movie) around and it’s loud in a very little way. If you want to, go ahead and sit in the Lamborghini acting of Liam Neeson, enjoy the seats, but Taken 2 won’t be taking you very far.

It was ok, I didn't see the first one so thought that this one would be great because everyone was saying how they were comparing it to the first one, and that it wasn't as good, but still good. When the movie ended, I thought it was only half way done, everything happened so quick, and was shocked it was seriously over, actually kinda found it boring a little, the idea was great but it all went way too fast for any lasting effect on the viewer.

Disappointing when compared to the first film, a lot less plot to figure out and engage the viewer.

Way below my expectations after the first Taken. The hunt for the "bad guys" was not even comparable... and 1 hour and a half was simply not enough to blend it all in. Some great fight sequences, but definitely lacked adrenaline.
