This movie should be called "toast rider". Nuff said.

A must see if you like the others. Loved it all the way.

Zzz. Slept through it. Nicolas Cage changed from thin to heavy in the blink of an eye, and that shapeshifting did nothing to save the movie.
| 2/10 | marji1919@ - 2 reviews 2.25.2012 - age: 50+ |
If you like grindhouse movies or people shooting rocket launchers this is your movie. Other than that you will hate it lol. The rider moments are alone worth seeing, most think Cage's acting is "bad" but that's Cage love him or hate him :)

Bad and bad and worst the bad. This movie is a complete failure.

OMG!! It was totally awesome!!! :D Ghostrider is my #1 best hero ever!

So bad, never go see another ghost rider movie again, people, save your money, go see something else.
| 2/10 | clyde@ - 2 reviews 2.25.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It was worse than a B horror movie. I was so disappointed by Nicolas Cage. VERY BAD.
| 2/10 | acoderre@ - first review 2.24.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It was a fun and exciting movie to watch. Don't miss it!
| 8/10 | evance10@ - 11 reviews 2.24.2012 - age: 36-49 |
My god it was bad, even Nicholas Cage was bad, such a disappointment.
| 4/10 | luc.desnoyers@ - first review 2.24.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Not that familiar with the original comic book story but inconsistent with first movie regarding origins of ghost rider. Found the cinematography crappy and no reason this had to be 3D.
| 5/10 | tcolterk@ - 4 reviews 2.24.2012 - age: 36-49 |
This movie could have everything going for it. But they screwed it up, as per usual. The movie, sigh, where do I even begin! First, waaay too cartoony. Second, story line completely changed. Third, I FELL ASLEEP DURING THE MIDDLE FOR 5 MINUTES! No movie should have that effect!
| 3/10 | zachary_gendron@ - first review 2.24.2012 - age: 18-25 |
We got to see it for free.. and it wasn't worth it. It was Terrible. It was Bad. Nothing good. 3D wasn't even that good. A big big disappointment considering we liked the first one. Stan Lee should have blown up the movie before it got released. It Stinks!
| 1/10 | m_shirlanne01@ - first review 2.24.2012 - age: 50+ |
I actually found this movie quite entertaining and it was much better than I expected from all the bad ratings. It was worth while seeing in the theater on the big screen... Great special effects. Nicolas Cage is Great!!!
| 7/10 | kat_s@ - 26 reviews 2.23.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Not enough Ghost Rider, Nick Cage keeps doing a weird Maniacal laugh, and the director was horrible. Strange unexplainable behaviour from characters and the personality of Johnny Blaze drastically changed from the end of the last movie. I loved the first movie, so this was a huge let down.
| 3/10 | dfabbric@ - 5 reviews 2.23.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Using the HULK. Johnny Blaze tries to control his curse. This one threw me a curve and story needs something from Ghost Rider comics. Good cast and characters that I really liked overall.

I slept through most of it. Don't spend your money, buy a stir bucks instead.

I just got back from Ghost Rider 2 and me and my brother loved it and I recommend that you go and see it.
| 10/10 | atrustfulboy@ - first review 2.23.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Not great but I liked it, better story than the original and also less action than I was expecting or would of liked, but the action sequences that where there where thoroughly entertaining and Nicolas Cages first good movie in a while, I think the last decent film he was in was 2010's Kick Ass. I liked the villains and Idris Elba very entertaining as a french/drunk/priest and the boy's mom liked her performance, good movie go see it if u feel like it, wouldn't have bothered me terribly to wait for the dvd release but I am still glad I went to see it in the theater.

If you missed the first movie (and weren't able to follow this movie) you might have a problem following the story on this one. The story was easy to follow (and if you didn't forget why Blaze wanted to lose his powers), it was quite entertaining to see. Don't go to see it just for the effects, that'll be a mistake. If you just go to be entertained, it'll be worth it.
| 8/10 | setterig@ - 2 reviews 2.22.2012 - age: 50+ |
Nic Cage is too old to play the stud muffin anymore. He looks tired, his hair looks fake and he just can't pull it off anymore. Put that with a dumb to dumber plot and well you have - not much!
| 2/10 | smartoldbroad@ - 5 reviews 2.22.2012 - age: 50+ |
I didn't see the 1-st one and I didn't read the comix. I liked the movie, I enjoyed it from the first minute to the last one. If you expect it to be like "Gone With The Wind" or "Titanic" - don't go, it's not the one. As always, before going to the movies, I read the reviews (especially bad ones) and watched the trailer. And I watched "Regis and Kelly" talk show with Nicolas Cage. I do not understand those who left bad reviews and low marks. Normal action, excellent graphics, the idea not worse than any other similar movies. Some moments reminded me Terminator 1, some - Matrix, some are similar to X-Men and Tron... As a minus - some scenes are overextended a bit. I'd watch it a second time on DVD or Blu-Ray. Probably we're already spoiled by Avatar and demand more. OK, why don't you try make a good movie? People, go enjoy and forget your problems. Nic Cage is good as almost always.

Boring movie, much more worse than the first one.
| 3/10 | hunter.wy@ - first review 2.21.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Before you go, if you really want to see the 3D animation of the Ghost Rider, wich is [F..] cool, read all the review. You have to know how bad is the movie so you can pass over it and enjoy the flaming skull. The 4 is for the rider only, the rest is a 0. -Acting is bad, worst than the first one. -Filming is bad one of the worst I've seen in my life (except the long camera shot on the skull and the rider) -Story? No story. B movie make a lot better. -Script? When you cannot write... you don't write. Bring your self an mp3 player with good psychabelly music or what ever you like, you will like the movie better! -All the other characters, including Johnny Blade are bad and have no development.
| 4/10 | mugen_art@ - 14 reviews 2.21.2012 - age: 36-49 |
I thought the first movie was really entertaining. This one was just garbage. Whoever directed it was trying to be artsy but it just came off as annoying (and somewhat nauseating) This is NOT a movie for kids. It was dark and boring. It's lousy - the worst movie I've ever paid for at a theatre.
| 1/10 | bpimm@ - 3 reviews 2.21.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It's gonna be a cult classic. It's so ridiculous and so awesome at the same time.

Really disappointed, they change too many of the technical detail that made the first one great!!!
| 6/10 | bigred_legs@ - first review 2.21.2012 - age: 36-49 |
I love Nick Cage, met him in New Orleans, good guy. But whoever wrote this movie messed up. I hated the first one too, and I really hoped that Nick learned from his mistakes, but he did not. The acting was fine, but the plot, and humor was childish at best.
| 1/10 | notreallyme129@ - 8 reviews 2.21.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Save your money. The first one was not bad but this one was awful. The story was lame and it failed horribly and re-creating anything close to the first.
| 2/10 | brentturville@ - 57 reviews 2.20.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Did not even come close to the first Ghost Rider! Found it a bit boring, although the 3D effects were good. It was really short, too, only about an hour and 20 minutes. Not worth the money. Glad I was able to use a pass to see this one for free.
| 2/10 | mikeshellkoslo@ - first review 2.20.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Absolute garbage. Cage is a joke. Poor writing. Ghost Rider looks awesome... but is so ridiculous at times it's sad. What a disappointment for movies and Marvel (And I LOVE Marvel)

Cage really needs some career advice. This movie gives new meaning to garbage. Do not waste your time and money on this hideous attempt at a movie.

It's laughable how movies like this get made.

Very bad movie. 3D suck big time. I found the movie very dark with glasses. Just bad. At the end last 10 mins some good scenes. He's a very cool character. But the big screen wasted on second movie. The first movie was good. This is just bad.

First of all I love all Nicolas Cage movies, coz I'am an avid fan... on this movie I love all the stunts and the way he drives the motorcycle. He best suits this movie...

Cage is by far one of the worst actors, it pays to have connections!
| 4/10 | lomax363@ - 30 reviews 2.20.2012 - age: 50+ |
I was surprised at how much they changed Ghost Rider. This movie was so cheesy and allot of the powers he used was changed from the first movie. Overall, save your money and wait for DVD; not worth seeing this movie in theater.
| 5/10 | army_and_trucker@ - 291 reviews 2.20.2012 - age: 36-49 |
I was a big fan of the first one, so I eagerly awaited this movie. What a disappointment. Poor script, pathetic editing and bad acting will make this a forgotten movie very shortly.
| 3/10 | in2dr@ - first review 2.20.2012 - age: 36-49 |
This was a waste of our family's time and money, I kept wondering why people did not stay in their seats? Then I realized they did not return to the theater.
| 2/10 | myeddie123@ - 21 reviews 2.20.2012 - age: 50+ |
I thought they did a great job of the effects but they could have narrowed the plot a bit but if you like 3d and Nicolas Cage then you will love this movie.

I was expecting more from this movie. I waited quite a while to see the first movie because I'm not a Nick Cage fan. So I saw it on DVD. I actually thought it was pretty good. This one was boring and had stupid jokes. I don't remember the first one being like this. I think the only 2 redeeming things about this movie are the special effects (and no I didn't see this in 3D - I hate 3D) and Idris Elba playing the french guy Moreau (I don't know if I spelled his name right) Nick Cage just overacts like a maniac and I was just losing interest. And the whole peeing like a flame thrower bit was really dumb. I just groaned at that. They could have done a lot better. I feel that I have wasted my money on this. I should have gone with my gut, seeing as how I'm not big on Cage. Oh well!

Ghost Rider 2... one that has seen the 1st would only expect something of equal value as a sequel. WRONG! I even did the mistake to see the 3D version. The movie starts with the main character explaining everything about his curse; even that part is cheesy. Then the story begins, in Europe! For some reason our rider went abroad in those countries where all the vampire stories occur. Our dear rider has to track down some demon kid to save him. The plot itself could have been good. The rider acts like a cartoonesque character with goofy humour. No wonder the movie is for a general audience. It's basically Church versus Devil. Once again they had to picture the religious guy as being black. Cliché! Every single character in the story don't know how to act. The roles were poorly casted, resulting in bad acting and the story making no sense. The action, I can't really say I enjoyed the action because all you see is the rider throwing his chains, or the rider riding his bike. There is this villain who has the power to make whatever he touches rot. This one made me laugh. Yes, laugh, as in comedy. He is not credible at all and whenever this guy is fighting everything turns to black. It's as if he appeared from nowhere. You would have to see to understand, and I don't recommend it. It feels as if the producer didn't know how to stage the fights. The movie is broken. It's way too long. It's in Europe and deals too much with religion making it look like some "Underworld" movie. The plot is poorly executed. Really bad casting. Dialogues are no brainers. Jokes are not funny. No chemistry between the actors. 3D was useless and in the beginning the camera was so shaky I had to stop watching (1st time it happens to me) The bad guys are not that bad ; they look like a bunch of dumb brutes that dropped out of school, sniffed glue and took steroids. You almost pity them. The only good thing about this movie is the Rider. They way he looks in the movie is Amazing. The animation is just wonderful. My jaw literally dropped. One of the worst movie I've seen in years! I really wasted my time. Avoid at any cost EVEN if you have free tickets (like I did) 3d effects.

They completely messed this one up!!! It looks like a low budget movie... They made the ghost rider a crazy dude which makes this movie look like a parody or a film for 10 year olds... this was really bad... I enjoyed the first one and liked it... but this is awful... that's all I can say... this is crap...
| 3/10 | libero_58@ - 71 reviews 2.19.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Cheesy acting and plot doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The effects were way better than in the first, but the movie itself was not nearly as entertaining.
