Not as good as the rest of the series but was still original and I love where Sid says "Holy Crab!" It was hysterical!

It was awesome!!! You must see it! On one of the trailers (and in the real movie) Manny said," Sid, you are out of your mind!" Ray Romano is awesome as the voice of Manny!

I'm amazed each time another installment is made. They introduce some new characters and lay the groundwork for the next installment. They achieve this with stunning computer animation and smart humour. I thoroughly enjoyed buck in their last adventure and was equally pleased by humour that grannie brought to this adventure. I assume the next adventure will take place as Diego becomes a father thanks to the fact he acquires a mate while tangling with the pirates.

This movie was so hilarious! The jokes were 100% better, and it is a very different twist of history.

We were disappointed! We greatly anticipated the release of this movie and found too much violence. My kids don't even care if we get the video to add to the other three.

I'm IN LOVE with ICE AGE!!! Keep them coming! If you love Ice Age also, you will definitely love this. If you don't... Your kids will!

A very welcome break from the violence and gore of other films. Very entertaining and great animation.

I took my nieces and nephews to see this and they enjoyed it very much and it was a pleasure for me to see something light and warm hearted without gratuitous violence.

The movie is perfect, this one is my favortie movie : )

Scrat is still funny but the teenage mammoth humor and "pirate" bad guys were ridiculous.
| 5/10 | hawaiianflute@ - first review 12.16.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Good laughter here and there and a kind of interesting story board.
| 8/10 | kaylau2@ - first review 12.8.2012 |
I liked it because it was very funny, specially the granny...
| 9/10 | besandoval@ - first review 11.24.2012 - age: 1-12 |
Basically, this film (like most carry-on movies) was 95% humor. There was alot of great adult humor (that whizzes over young kids' heads) and A LOT of narwhals (midnight)

Ice Age: Continental Drift is not significantly better or worse than any or its predecessors. Like the previous entries in the franchise it is the stunning animation, the great chemistry among the voice actors, and the return of the lovable characters that make these films a treat for the family. However, there isn't much new here that makes the movie fresh. Much like the Shrek series there really wasn't a need for a fourth. Still, Ice Age: Continental is a good family film that the children will enjoy.

It was good to see this show again but I think they should not make another unless it's gonna be excellent. Not bad.
| 8/10 | shazjoao@ - 1723 reviews 10.10.2012 |
No plot. No real characters. Just an excuse for animals to bash one another - or to be bashed by moving continents. Ahistorical: Mammoths didn't live at the time the continents separated. What little humour there - like the acorn separating the continents - is way over the head of young children, the target audience.

First movie was my favourite, third one was okay, second one was the worst, that leaves this one. There are some good gags, good animation. The best part is Scrat (like usual) and the new side characters, in particular the villain and Sid's grandmother. However there isn't enough of them to save this movie. It simply doesn't do anything new or interesting that the previous 3 haven't. When this one was first announced I heard rumors it would focus entirely on Scrat. Too bad it didn't because his side adventure was the definite high point.

Good movie but it was a little too short and on DVD the camera was shaky.
| 7/10 | popjukopju@ - 7 reviews 9.16.2012 - age: 1-12 |
Great for children of all ages! And lots of fun in 3D! Loved the adorable new characters and the original crew; just felt a little short and the story wasn't as captivating as the previous ones.

The story was great. It is a great addition to the Ice Age movies. I only wish it was longer...
| 9/10 | garen.hagopian@ - 7 reviews 9.8.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Entertaining for kids and adults alike, but not as great as some of the previous ones. In my view, adults will be disappointed.

| 10/10 | michael5@ - 4 reviews 8.28.2012 - age: 1-12 |
This is an amazing movie, a masterpiece. It does not matter how old you are to go and see it, it's how you look at the movie from another angle. What it taught me was that family and friends stick together, no matter what happens. The 3D effect was very well placed in it and the acting was marvelous and the singing was amazing. A must see!

| 10/10 | jaminn2030@ - 2 reviews 8.19.2012 - age: 36-49 |
The best kids movie that we saw this summer. Our kids liked it far more than Brave and a bit more than the Madagascar release. I agree with the teen, the 10 year old and the 7 yr. Old.
| 9/10 | brenda.gilstorf@ - 15 reviews 8.19.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Very funny and all those really cute characters and the magical scenery are a must see. The imagination of the creators is limitless. The images are clean and breathtaking. If you are blazé you are not human!!!

| 9/10 | miz_elizabeth24@ - first review 8.9.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Went with my son, and we both enjoyed it. By now I thought the series would be dull and disappointing... it's not. Surprise!
| 7/10 | kindagrumpy@ - first review 8.9.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Ice Age came out when I was little and I've seen them all so I thought I would see the newest one and hope it wasn't awful like the third one. It was better than the third one and it was an excellent kids movie! The kids movies now are so violent this one hardly had any of that in it, only one or two scenes but it was mild.
| 7/10 | fuzzycat901@ - 55 reviews 8.9.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Apparently you either love or hate it. We loved it. Great story and 'never leave anyone behind' message also 'watch who your friends are ' message. Great story, well written.
| 9/10 | coffeebreak72@ - 27 reviews 8.7.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Im so surprised how many people liked it... I thought it was horrible! The dawn of dinosaurs was amazing and so were the rest! But this was a complete disappointment... and we go to all the kid movies with our children... our kids on the other hand loved it... so thats what matter. But if your 5 or older it's no good...
| 4/10 | littlemama2455@ - 14 reviews 8.7.2012 - age: 26-35 |
We enjoyed it and we especially liked seeing the children's reactions to it.

You can't go wrong with Ice Age. There were more scenes with the hilarious squirrel. The audience was laughing out loud whenever he was on the screen. If you liked the previous Ice Age movies, do not miss this one. You won't be disappointed.
