Ten years ago, Adam (Derek Ramsay) and Arki (Coleen Garcia) both dreamed of nothing but to become doctors. As they went to the same medical school, their relationship was defined by their study sessions, which eventually led to passionate encounters in the bedroom. However, after a brawl that almost jeopardized Adam's dream, the couple gets into their first major fight, causing Arki to suddenly disappear with Adam never finding out the reason why. Now, as fate would have it, Arki is already working as a medical representative in a reputable pharmaceutical company and is assigned to get the endorsement of her ex, who is now a famed sports doctor in the country. Just like the painkillers that Arki is promoting, the two cover up the pains of the past by living for the moment and enjoying the newfound relationship that they are starting to build. But of course, pain is everyone's worst enemy, and it's going to hit you unannounced. Just when everything is going on track, the secrets of the past will start coming back, forcing Adam and Arki to confront the question -- can exes really give each other a second chance?
