The name Spalding Gray was unfamiliar to me until I chanced across a review of this film. Steven Soderberg did a marvelous editing job of Mr. Gray's filmed TV and stage performances' and interviews plus some home movies to present a story of 'everyman'. the internal workings of this individual's mind. Although your story and my story can never be identical to Mr. Gray's story, after the initial five minutes I was entranced. I am not describing a 'spoiler' here as I don't believe it was specifically mentioned in the film. Spalding Gray never admitted to having personal 'devils', yet he was able to put his own to rest only at intervals. He ultimately committed suicide.
