The weekly newsmagazine 'Time' has featured many famous people on its cover: Kings, Queens, prime ministers, presidents & dictators, winners of Nobel & Pulitzer prizes, icons from the business & entertainment fields and many others. There is perhaps only one person who declined to have his likeness on the Time cover - William G. Wilson. Bill W. chose to maintain the integrity of the group he founded with Dr. Robert Smith, now known worldwide as Alcoholics Anonymous. This is not a flashy film. No chase scenes, nudity or terrestrial warfare are shown. No magic tricks. It is simply the story of a man who struggled with life to the end, and helped thousands of others in the process.
