It was a fascinating movie from beginning to end, a visual feast. I felt just like a kid again. I'm usually very critical of animation movies but this one is in a different class altogether. The story is solid and will please children as well as adults who have not lost their power to imagine and let go of reality's limitations. There is definitely a strong Time Burton influence here and I feel that it might even surpass most of what he has done. The 3-D effects enhance the movie instead of being distracting as they often are when shot in Imax. They will not make you dizzy or give you a headache. Please tell me this is the future of movie making. I'd really like to see Scarlett Johansson or Jessica Biel with the added dimension of depth. :)
