    Ender's Game

This is an extremely difficult story to adapt to the big screen but this film does an admirable job at portraying the crux of the plot. The theme may not be palatable to all but that's what the novel is about. Movies can't be all rainbows and unicorns fabricated to serve the politically correct nature of today's society. Ender's Game stays true and doesn't shy away from the ugliness of the childrens' predicament. The effects are top notch and the acting, although not eye-watering, is more than sufficient to propell the tale along. Those who have read the book(s) will enjoy it more because they will fill in the gaps subconsciously but it also works as a stand alone film.
