This is a movie about the music of the '60's and that unique period of American music history that was part of my teens. This "back story" to those times is entertaining and a lesson that "glitters isn't gold". Fascinating, toe-tapping, and well-done. It is filmed in an almost black and white palette to evoke the era. Performances by Christopher Walken and the performer who played Tony were memorable. Humor, music, excellent film direction. Too bad the filmgoers of today are kids who ignore this film and go to Transformers instead.
