My 5 is generous. FX technology has come far enough that every single movie has great effects so I'm ignoring that part. Considering this movie was made by This movie was the worst piece of first-draft garbage I've seen in ages, and I normally only see the blockbuster, made-for-the-big-screen type movies so it's not like it wasn't right in my wheelhouse. Leave your brain at the door, and be prepared to roll your eyes. I was so pumped to see this movie. Me and my gf (who is easier to please than I am) both walked out and immediately started going off about the giant writing gaffes. I waited 14 years for this movie, and it feels like the writing was all done in 14 days. You won't get emotionally attached to any characters, and the dino stuff is so cheesy you'll feel awkward for the actors. IMDB the actors and director. I have no idea how they scammed their way into getting this movie.
