This picture really does not know what it wants to be. Killers has all the elements of a romantic comedy but then it tries to be an action thriller too. Unfortunately, it can't hold up both ends at the same time and story elements start to unravel and it just becomes rather silly and melodramatic. I could not anticipate what was going to happen next but this was due to the fact that characters motivation and actions were not bound by any sense of reality that I know of. This is a problem of weak story writing more than anything else. That said, I think females will likely enjoy this picture more for its strong female lead and for the romantic comedy elements which were fairly well executed.

Your first sentence sums up the problem with most 'rom-coms'. I'm guessing the action was a 'for the guys' addition. I suspect I'll be renting this one... though I like both stars.
