Riddick

Excellent movie. The beginning; just how Riddick survived was excellent. He did seem a little more civilized but you have to watch carefully to notice. I was really hoping it would pick up from the second movie, where he became Lord of the Necromongers. Also would have liked to see Karl Urban have a major role, just to up the acting quality, but overall, I enjoyed it and not at all what I would have predicted. Parts of this one was more like Pitch Black as well, and I really had to watch closely to spot all of the nasty critters. I've seen it twice already and picked up on some things I didn't really notice first time in. I'm not comparing this one with the other two. I enjoyed all three. I hope there's another one with what I was hoping for as I've mentioned. Might go again when it hits the cheap theaters or on a Tuesday.
