M. Night Shyamalan is back in a big way with Split. The premise alone is a home run, and eerier than anything the director has done in 15 years. It features a brilliant, tour de force performance from James McAvoy, whose fearless commitment to the role is what really makes the film work. Scary, disturbing and utterly compelling from start to finish. And oh boy what a finish!!
