Reality-based movies are becoming more and more popular (CG fatigue? ), and this is a good one. Exceptional photography and sound in the opening scene, and throughout the movie - and it is challenging to make a film that's about 50% underground. The human story of survival as a group - food rationing, conflicts, hope followed by despair, elation, faith - peppered with small life moments like the sister leaving an empanada on the park bench for the brother who's ignoring her - is very well told. Even though the story is well-known at the high level, there is enough dramatic tension to keep it going.
