I would agree with most that for the violence part it was unnecessary. I don't like Tarantino's work much because of a variety of story flow lags or over doing it. Did not like Pulp Fiction nor Kill Bill either. It was a peach to see Michael Madsen again though. And no he is nothing like Guy Richie who is a master of such work. If you going in there expecting a Sergio Leone type film like I have, trying to compare it to good old westerns like Fistful of Dollars, obviously you are going to be disappointed. Truly I gave it 4.5 with my own opinion but considering other movie gowers I up it to 6. It's still worth seeing just perhaps not in cinema but at home with a big mug of beer. Also the "new hangman" whom you will see in a movie acts too much like Christopher Waltz in Django Unchained, he has a pee-shooter also, you will get the point once you see it. I think he got that nasty habit from Rodrigez when they used to work together and the fella would reuse same actors throughout the film. I would say last Tarantino movie I enjoyed was From Dusk Till Dawn with Clooney. To be honest I don't know how people can love it but also hate it, the dialogue is worth 4 at least.
