The Wolf of Wall Street

7.7. It's long, which I usually hate, but this time I didn't notice the clock. The script could've used a bit more tweaking for the intellectuals in the audience, but overall it wasn't too bad, relatively speaking. Notice that the vast majority of the bad reviews come from the over 50 crowd. I guess it's not for them. There are some holes of course, but overall it's a fun, funny movie. Take from it what you will about greed, excess and preying on the innocent, but remember that it's just a movie. It's not an instructional video nor a justification of anything. It's just a movie, and an entertaining one at that. It's not in the least 'porn'. I hate sex scenes. Always have. This is more about the lifestyle around sexual people, as opposed to long, 80's style sex scenes just for the sake of showing stars naked.
