THE BOONDOCKS is an edgy, in-your-face comedy brimming with stinging social commentary and biting satire. The show focuses on the adventures and political musings of 10-year-old Huey Freeman, an afro-wearing, burgeoning African-American radical, and his foul-mouthed, eight-year-old wannabe thug brother, Riley, as they adjust to living with their grandfather in the quiet Chicago suburb of Woodcrest -- aka 'the boondocks.' However, the boys refuse to assimilate into their new surroundings; instead they constantly antagonize each other and provoke their Granddad and new timid, middle class neighbors.
