A countercultural epic, in which a crossection of farmers, radicals, mothers and idealists, often in the form of one person, wake up from the dreams of the 60s to the hangover of the new decade. Douglas and Kramer (a founding member of the Newsreel collective) find hope and despair at every turn, confronting a literal communal birth, as well as a certain kind of death.
