Centralia was a small tight knit community in the heart of Pennsylvania. In 1962 it was overcome by a massive underground coal fire that is still burning to this day. After many failed attempts by the government to put out the fire, hundreds of residents had to be relocated leaving Centralia a ghost town. Centralia: Pennsylvania's Lost Town takes us on a journey that gives us a history of Centralia's fate through the perspective of former and current residents, the government's own actions, and local news archives.
