Fatima-Zahra and her teenage son, Selim, constantly move from one location to another to escape the repercussions of her latest scandal. When Selim uncovers the realities of their past, Fatima-Zahra pledges to start anew. They settle in Tangier, where new possibilities offer them the chance for a legitimate life. However, these opportunities strain their already tumultuous relationship to its limits.
